Israel At War – Day 365

Winning On All Fronts

He’s Not A Happy Camper

In a terse rebuke of the French president who decided to call for an embargo of weapons sent to Israel, Prime Minister Netanyahu let him and any other leaders exactly what he thinks about that action as we see in a report from The Jerusalem Post:

Shame on them!" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared on Saturday night as he sharply rebuked French President Emmanuel Macron and other Western leaders calling for an arms embargo on Israel.

Netanyahu, in a fiery address, accused these leaders of hypocrisy, stating that while Iran continues to arm its proxies in the region, countries that claim to stand against terrorism are now seeking to limit Israel’s ability to defend itself.

He made his case this way:

“Is Iran imposing an arms embargo on Hezbollah, on the Houthis, on Hamas and on its other proxies? Of course not,” Netanyahu said. “This axis of terror stands together. But countries who supposedly oppose this terror axis call for an arms embargo on Israel. What a disgrace!”

Netanyahu’s remarks come as pressure mounts from international leaders, including Macron, who have expressed concerns over Israel’s military operations, particularly in Gaza. Israel has intensified its response after the October 7 attack by Hamas, which left hundreds of Israeli civilians dead.

Macron wants Israel to think more about civilians now:

Macron suggested that arms supplies to Israel should be reconsidered due to the humanitarian impact on Gaza in an interview on Saturday.

The PM stated that Israel is in a fight for its life now:

“Today, Israel is defending itself on seven fronts against the enemies of civilization,” he said. He listed battles against Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Iranian-backed militias in Yemen, Iraq, and Syria. Netanyahu also noted ongoing efforts to combat terrorist groups in the West Bank.

Netanyahu also singled out Iran as the orchestrator of these attacks. “We are fighting against Iran, which last week fired over 200 ballistic missiles directly at Israel and which stands behind this seven-front war against Israel,” he asserted.

Netanyahu asked for unity from the international community and then took a swipe at France:

The prime minister also urged international solidarity with Israel, portraying the conflict as a global battle against extremism. “As Israel fights the forces of barbarism led by Iran, all civilized countries should be standing firmly by Israel’s side,” he said.

Despite the calls for an arms embargo, Netanyahu was defiant, expressing confidence in Israel’s ability to prevail. “Israel will win with or without their support,” he said. “But their shame will continue long after the war is won.”

Another Israeli politician, MK Boaz Bismuth stated the same things on X, but added this:

Israel's right to self-defense is unquestionable. Remember, Mr. President(Macron): Israel is fighting for you too," his post concluded.

A Significant Retaliatory Strike

We’re told in another report from The Jerusalem Post that Israel has no intention of scaling back its offensive attack on Iran in spite of pleas from the US and others to do so:

The IDF on Saturday commented regarding the retaliation against Iran for launching ballistic missiles toward Israel, clarifying that combat is currently ongoing on seven different fronts. Alongside the continued fighting in Gaza and the West Bank, Israeli soldiers and forces are engaged in operations in Lebanon, Iran, and its proxies in Yemen, Syria, and Iraq.

This counterattack is meant solely for Iran who has to help its proxies fighting at the same time:

The struggle with Iran is viewed as a direct conflict, and it is expected that the Iranians will be preoccupied with their own affairs rather than just with their proxies in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, Yemen, and Iraq.

The IDF will strike but they are mum on giving out details:

The IDF plans to respond significantly but has not detailed the nature of that response. The IDF noted that the Iranians launched 201 missiles from Iran to Israel, some of which impacted targets.

Consequently, there is a broad recommendation within the IDF to respond to the Iranian attack while minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities.

Israel is also still hitting Hezbollah hard taking out Nassrallah’s successor who was only on the job for 4 days. The IDF is also thinking about hitting Syria to stop weapons from getting in:

The IDF has threatened to strike in Syria against weapons that originated from Iran and are intended for Hezbollah's use. The military emphasized its determination to thwart arms smuggling.

They are also still striking Yemen:

Reports indicate that in Yemen, a port used by the Houthis to receive oil supplies from the sea was attacked, along with two power stations and further damage to the port itself, preparing for future engagements.

Overall, the IDF is not only keeping track of all the seven war fronts but still eliminating threats from all of them simultaneously. They are raiding Hezbollah infrastructure with the goal of making it safe for northern residents to return to their homes. And they are hitting terrorist command centers and weapons warehouses in and around Beirut making it difficult for Hezbollah to plan attacks. They are keeping their eyes on Syria where weapons are coming in that then get distributed to the various Iranian proxies. All the while they are still fighting in Gaza along the southern border collapsing most of the tunnels the tearing down terrorism in the West Bank. As I said from the start, this war to finally end terror threats from all sides would have to include more than one front. I believe that Bible prophecy demands this because Israel needs to dwell in peace and safety when the war of Gog and Magog occurs as we see in Ezekiel 38:11:

You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’ (NKJV)

Right now Israel has four walls all around it to keep threats out. And they are hardly living in peace. Prophetically Israel will win this current war to setup the next one. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, a peace they are predicted to have.
