THE PROPHETS ARE SCREAMING SOON

5 Voices. 1 Warning. Zero Time Left.

The Words Say Soon

Jesus told His disciples exactly what to listen for when they asked Him for a sign of His coming. “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matthew 24:6-8).

This week alone, five prophetic voices on our watchlist independently used the same kind of language—not “someday,” not “in the years ahead,” but soon. Days. Weeks. Now. And while they were saying it, the headlines were already moving to catch up. It’s all in five voices, one deadline

Bullock: “Days Away”

Robin Bullock opened the month with a word he titled “Days Away,” released August 4th and flagged by Bullock himself as unusually serious—a rare tone for a prophet who releases prophetic content almost daily.

Kunneman: The Day of Reckoning

Hank Kunneman's most substantive word on this theme actually came earlier this year, in a Flashpoint appearance on Steve Shultz's Elijah Streams broadcast taped just ahead of the nation's July 4th 250th-anniversary celebration. Kunneman described a vision God gave him of a “day of reckoning” now unfolding for those he says manipulated past elections, drawing a parallel to Numbers 16, where 250 rebels who rose against Moses were “swallowed up.” He tied it to “Behold... I will work a work in your days” (Habakkuk 1:5), which he says points to a coming “renaissance” and national awakening—a season in which the truth about election fraud and government corruption comes out, and God, in his words, counters the rise of socialism and communism in America with a fresh move of liberty. Kunneman was direct about the timeline: “That's the day of reckoning.”

Green: A Virus Growing

Julie Green received a word on August 8th, published August 12th, titled “You Have a Virus Growing in Your Nation,” warning of infiltration across government, courts, banking, and law enforcement. Green's word declared that “things will begin to change more quickly now,” tying the shift directly to what she described as her enemies reaching “a great state of desperation.”

Christmas: Mute the Mouth of the Evil One

Kent Christmas, speaking with Elijah Streams' Steve Shultz on August 3rd, relayed a word he said came from the Lord: “I'm going to mute the mouth of the evil one.”

Black: The Next Four Weeks

Troy Black's most recent word, shared today and titled “What God Just Showed Me About the Next 4 Weeks,” says he received it in prayer on August 18th—just three days before airing it. He described hearing a sequence: a sudden collapse, a moment of economic restraint, and what he called an upside-down situation being turned right-side up, followed by a “moment of clarity.” From there he says the picture shifted to a nation openly overspending—what he described hearing as “maxing out the credit cards and calling it okay,” which he took to mean not individuals but the nation itself, on credit. He also felt led to research Japan's religious landscape as part of the same word, tying what he called a “Japanese culture problem” to a broader point about people trying to fill a spiritual void through money, self-focus, or new-age practice rather than through Christ. It's on top of an already active stretch covering Trump and what he calls a coming AI shift. Five different voices, five different platforms, and the same word underneath all of it: watch closely, because it's close.

Wars and Rumors of Wars

While those words were circulating, the news cycle didn't slow down. The Treasury Department announced what President Trump called the “most crushing economic operation ever” against Iran and its trading partners this week, just days after the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding expired and Iran threatened a new offensive.

The UAE detected a missile threat and later confirmed that two Iranian ballistic missiles had fallen into open water nearby—a reminder that the tension dating back to this year's strikes on Iran hasn't cooled, even with a fragile Gaza framework being negotiated in parallel. Closer to home, the national debt topped $40 trillion this week, with reporting tying the milestone directly to tariff and war spending—an economic footnote to the same “wars and rumors of wars” pattern Jesus described.

Earthquakes in Various Places

Colombia is still counting its losses from the magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck August 10th—the strongest to hit the country this century. The death toll has climbed past 130 in the days since, with hundreds more missing across Cali, Pereira, Quibdó, and Manizales.

Five days later, a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck off Indonesia's Flores Island, killing at least 51 people and triggering tsunami warnings that were later lifted. More than 235 aftershocks followed within a day. Two major earthquakes, on opposite sides of the globe, within the same five-day window. Prophetic voice Joseph Z addressed the Colombia quake directly on his August 19th broadcast, walking through geological reports suggesting the quake could be the start of a chain reaction moving north through Mexico and into Southern California within the next three to six months, with particular concern building around stress loads at California's Cajon Pass and a long-standing word he's carried about a possible eruption at Yellowstone. He was careful to frame it in faith rather than fear, praying over California and Yellowstone by name and pointing to the prophet Agabus in Acts 11 as the model—naming what's coming, then responding with prayer instead of panic. As he put it, “I have peace over this. I have understanding.”

Soon Is Not a Spectator Sport

Here's the tension: “Do not despise prophecies. Test all things; hold fast what is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:20-21). We don't treat any one of these five words as settled fact—God's timing is His own, and “the vision is yet for an appointed time… though it tarries, wait for it” (Habakkuk 2:3). But testing a word was never meant to be an excuse to do nothing with it.

So if these voices are even close to right, what changes for you this week? Not a bunker and a stockpile. A life that's actually ready. That means the relationships you've been meaning to repair get repaired now, not someday. It means the person you've been meaning to tell about Jesus hears it this week, not “when things calm down.” It means your own walk with God isn't running on the fumes of a Sunday morning. Whether the headline is an earthquake, a missile, or a debt clock, the call underneath every one of them is the same: get right, stay ready, and quit assuming you have unlimited time to do it.

That's the whole point of watching. Not fear—readiness. “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” (Luke 21:28). Whether it's days away or further out than any of these five voices think, the answer is the same either way: don't just watch the clock. Live like it's already ticking.
