Defiant Tones Heard

A Defiant Tone

We heard today that Israeli leaders are going to eliminate Hamas regardless if they have the support of the world. We read more about this in an article from The Times Of Israel:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visits a detention facility in southern Israel where Hamas operatives detained in the Gaza Strip are being questioned by the IDF’s 504 human intelligence unit.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Netanyahu gets a briefing about the unit’s work and the interrogation procedures.

He then tells the unit’s soldiers that “we are continuing until the end, until victory, until the elimination of Hamas” — even in the face of international pressure. “Nothing will stop us,” he says.

He expresses appreciation for the military’s work in Gaza, adding that “yesterday we had a very tough day” when 10 soldiers were killed in a Hamas ambush in the Strip’s north.

Who Controls Gaza

Hamas, for its part is just as defiant about how Gaza will be controlled once the war is over as we read in this quote from the same live blog:

Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh says any plan for post-war Gaza that does not involve the Palestinian terror group is just a “delusion.”

“Any arrangement in Gaza or in the Palestinian cause without Hamas or the resistance factions is a delusion,” says Haniyeh in a televised speech.

Haniyeh says he is open to talks for ending the ongoing war and “putting the Palestinian house in order both in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.”

He says Hamas is open to talks but wants Jerusalem as the capital.

He says Hamas is ready for talks that could lead to a “political path that secures the right of the Palestinian people to their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

Notably, he makes no mention of an Israeli state living alongside this Palestinian state. Hamas openly seeks Israel’s destruction and has vowed to commit similar onslaughts to the one carried out on October 7 until this is achieved.

I hardly see how Israel will allow Hamas or any other terrorist regime to make Jerusalem or even part of it as its capital.

A Troubling Poll

In a sign of Palestinian defiance of their own we read about a poll taken by a Palestinian pollster from an article in i24news.tv:

In a recent wartime opinion poll among Palestinians, published on Wednesday, a notable surge in support for Hamas has been identified.

The findings also indicate an overwhelming rejection of Western-backed President Mahmoud Abbas, with nearly 90% of respondents expressing the opinion that he should resign.

The results, compiled by a Palestinian pollster, suggest potential challenges for the Biden administration's postwar strategy for Gaza. Additionally, the findings cast doubts on Israel's objective of dismantling Hamas' military and governing capabilities.

The actual numbers are strongly against Israel as we see the 72% support the 10/7 massacre, 82% support Hamas and support for an “armed struggle” sits at 60%. And with no support for the Palestinian Authority (PA) at all with 90% wanting President Mahmoud Abbas to resign, the United States desire to see the PA run Gaza is running on fumes:

The U.S. has advocated for the West Bank-based Palestinian Authority (PA), currently led by Abbas, to eventually take control of Gaza. This proposition aims to facilitate the administration of both territories as a preliminary step toward Palestinian statehood. While the U.S. has emphasized the need for revitalizing the PA, it remains unclear whether this entails leadership changes.

Israel’s conservative government coalition is also against the PA running Gaza and obviously wants Hamas annihilated:

Arab allies of the U.S. have indicated their willingness to participate in post-war reconstruction efforts contingent upon a credible push toward a two-state solution. However, the prospects of such a resolution appear slim under the Netanyahu government, which is dominated by opponents of PA-ruled Palestinian statehood.

Defiant Threat Issued

While Hamas sternly refused to agree to a new hostage deal unless their demands are met, a chilling video says that Hamas now will target Americans anywhere because the United States supports Israel. We read about these threats from an article from the Daily Express:

Hamas has threatened violence against Americans everywhere in their latest horrifying statement.

Speaking on Memri, Senior Official for Hamas Sami Abu Zuhri called for acts of violence against the USA and also the UK.

Zuhri’s comments come as tensions over the Israel-Hamas war intensify with pressure growing on Israel to stop the fighting.

Meanwhile, more stories have continued to come out about the terrorist group’s brutality since the October 7 attacks, which left hundreds of innocent people dead or seriously injured.

The new chilling threat could put the lives of hostages at risk.

Zuhri expanded on why the threats were made this way adding the targets could be any nation that supports Israel in the war:

Speaking on Memri, Zuhri said: “When Blinken is justifying the killing of women and children, the sons of our nation should say to him: 'You are the enemy, just like Netanyahu, and you must pay the price, just like Netanyahu.

“'We should keep this in mind. So if our nation thinks that the heroic acts of the Al-Qassam Brigades release it from its responsibility that is a misconception and a mistaken assessment that should be discarded.'”

Zuhri added: “Now it is our nation’s turn to pressure the Americans to stop this war. We need violent acts against American and British interests everywhere as well as the interests of all the countries that support the occupation.

“They must pay a price for the blood of our women and children who are being killed in cold blood on the streets of Gaza. They must pay a price so that they know that Gaza is not alone and that when they gave the order to kill, they should have been prepared to pay the necessary price.”

We Should Defy These Plans In Prayer

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (2 Cor 10:3-6, NKJV)

With so many players saber rattling about taking violent actions, it would be foolish to thing that these terrorists will leave Christians alone and only target Jews. Jesus warned us that the hatred for Him would extend to His followers who founded Christianity. It’s not rocket science to make the connection. And it’s obvious that this antichrist spirit will be behind all these potential attacks so we have a spiritual focus on these threats which we can defy in the spiritual realm. We can bind the plans hatched in the heavenlies and at the same time loose the plans and angelic forces that can repel the plans already seen in our physical world. If there is to be violence by us, it is to pray violent prayers that intensely come against the principalities and powers in heavenly realms as we read in the verses above. So we can specifically come after Hamas in prayer using Bible verses as punching gloves. Literally. And in doing so, we can tear down the current plans and any future plans. So let’s get busy now that we know what they are planning for Israel and for those that support them.
