Israel At War – Day 36
An Inside Job

Protests Around The World

Daily we are seeing more and more pro-Hamas protest in large cities like London, Paris, and all over the United States with universities being the main locations. We see videos on social media showing people tearing down posters of hostages from the October 7th Hamas attacks. There appears to be no end to the rise of antisemitism seen, levels not seen for a very long time, if ever. Accusations of law enforcement turning a blind eye to vandalism and to protestors blocking access to streets and other open areas, causing some businesses to not get supplies because of the human blockades. In London itself, we read this from i24news.tv on the riots there (see https://www.i24news.tv/en/news/international/europe/1699716782-resist-and-fight-zionism-the-disease-extremist-rhetoric-at-london-mass-pro-palestinian-rally) :

Huge crowds marched through the British capital on Saturday, as pro-Palestinian supporters ramped up the anti-Israeli rhetoric, with police out in force.

The "National March for Palestine," organised by the Stop the War Coalition — closely aligned with Jeremy Corbyn, whose leadership of the Labour party was marred by numerous antisemitism scandals —, set off after a two-minutes' silence to remember Britain's war dead on Armistice Day was observed at The Cenotaph war memorial in central London at 1100 GMT.

The tone adopted at the rally, however, was rife with venom directed at the world's only Jewish state, including shows of support for Hamas, the jihadist terror group whose incursion into Israel on October 7 saw the worst antisemitic atrocity since the Holocaust.

Huge crowds of protesters waved black, red, white and green Palestinian flags and held aloft placards proclaiming "Resist and fight Zionism the disease" and "Welcome to Gaza twinned with Auschwitz," just over a month since the Hamas massacre that saw more than 1,200 butchered and some 240 people taken hostage.

The crowds chanted "From London to Palestine, occupation is a crime" and "in our thousands, in our millions, we are all Palestinians."

London is only one example of what we see around the globe. Now, to be fair, there are rallies that are pro-Israel (see https://www2.cbn.com/news/us/march-israel-set-dc-tuesday-biden-confirms-4-hour-daily-pauses-idf) , but they are the exception and not the rule, and authorities are actually warning anyone see being sympathetic to Israel tread carefully if risk being seen at all.

Foot In Mouth Disease In France

French President Emmanuel Macron in an interview with the BBC said that while he condemns the terrorist attacks and killings on October 7th, he urges Israel to stop bombing in Gaza. Here is a quote from an article in the US edition of Independent.co.uk (see https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/macron-gaza-israel-hamas-deaths-b2445540.html) :

Israel must stop bombing Gaza and killing women and babies, says French President Emmanuel Macron.

Mr Macron said there was “no justification” for the continued bombing of the enclave, which Palestinian health officials claim has killed more than 11,000 people.

He told the BBC that although France “clearly condemns” the 7 October “terrorist” attacks on Israel by Hamas and recognised Israel’s right to defend itself, “we do urge them to stop this bombing.”

Mr Macron told the news organisation that “there is no other solution than first a humanitarian pause, going to a ceasefire, which will allow [us] to protect... all civilians having nothing to do with terrorists.”

And he added: “De facto – today, civilians are bombed – de facto. These babies, these ladies, these old people are bombed and killed. So there is no reason for that and no legitimacy. So we do urge Israel to stop.”

However, a little more than 21 hours later, he appears to walking those comments back as we read in a report from The Times Of Israel (see https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog-november-11-2023/#liveblog-entry-3151067) :

Following strong pushback in Israel, France seeks to walk back President Emmanuel Macron’s remark that there’s “no justification” for Israel’s bombing of “these babies, these ladies, these old people” in Gaza.

“President Macron never implied, and does not think, that Israeli forces are deliberately targeting civilians. He has been consistently qualifying Hamas’s use of hostages or civilian population as ‘unacceptable blackmail,'” says a French diplomatic source…

“While President Macron is aware of Israel’s efforts to prevent collateral damage and facilitate humanitarian access, he believes that more can be done considering the dire humanitarian situation or Gaza’s civilian population,” the source says. “He therefore believes that a humanitarian pause and eventually a ceasefire are opportune to help the civilian population in Gaza get the much needed aid and relief.”

Marcon and other world leaders are facing Palestinian blow back in their countries and are having to walk a fine line politically over showing even a hint of support for Israel. I suspect this had more than a little to do with the public comments.

Were Gazan Citizens Involved With The Terrorist Attacks?

News is coming out that the so called innocent civilians seen in photos by journalist embeds with Hamas on October 7th clearly show these Palestinian citizens rushing in through the disabled fencing. We also see civilians taking a hostage back into Gaza and another of civilians of a lynch mob brutalizing an Israeli soldier who Hamas dragged out of a tank. Some would say that the vast majority of the heinous and atrocious acts were carried out by Hamas and its soldiers, a video posted on 11/8 refutes that account. In it, the Israel Defense Force (IDF) clearly states that it was these “innocent civilians” who did the horrifying attacks on the elderly and babies. My source, Amir Tsarfati on his Telegram account posted the video where he gave us this information as well:

Israeli officer: Most of the horrendous crimes were committed by Gaza civilians. Hamas terrorists mostly killed soldiers and moved on. Civilians did most of the lynching, mutilating, slaughtering, beheading, and burning.

As this report attests, eradicating Gaza of Hamas will have to be more than taking out the soldiers and infrastructure. It will also have to address the civilians who worked with Hamas and fully support their mission which is to destroy Israel itself. If the IDF has a way to change these hearts, I’d like to hear it. Only God can change the heart. And therein is another prayer strategy.
