Violations Abound

We want peace with Hezbollah and Iran among others and yet both parties seem to break any deal they make. Hezbollah made a deal and now we’re told in a report from Israel Hayom that the deal is already broken:

After the IDF rushed to describe the incident as a false alarm, the IDF Spokesperson acknowledged that Hezbollah had violated the ceasefire and fired rockets at Israeli troops operating in southern Lebanon. The IDF also acknowledged that Hezbollah launched a drone toward Israel but said it did not cross into the Israeli territory. The full IDF Spokesperson statement said: "The Hezbollah terrorist organization launched several rockets a short while ago at IDF troops operating south of the forward defense line, in the area of Rab al-Thalathine in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah clearly thinks they can push any deal to the edge if it suits them. The IDF was quick to reply as they should:

"Within minutes, the IDF struck the launcher from which the rockets were fired. Contrary to the report of a false identification, a further review indicates that the alerts activated in Kfar Yuval and Maayan Baruch were apparently triggered by the interception of an unmanned aerial vehicle launched from Lebanon before it crossed into Israeli territory. These are blatant violations of the ceasefire agreement."

As a proxy of Iran and an extremely important one before Israel decimated them with assassinations and exploding pagers, their bosses in Tehran know that if Hezbollah falls they will lose a lot. Anyone who thinks that the mullahs aren’t behind these attacks is living in a fantasy world. But what this also shows is that the only way for peace in Lebanon is to expel and eradicate Hezbollah politically and militarily. Diplomacy looks nice and sounds respectful, but only if all sides are willing to agree with it. Clearly these radical Muslims are only looking out for themselves and always will. So, what about Iran?

More Time Given

Any chance at a peaceful end to the Iran conflict was given a lease on life even though internally there is a struggle to find a unified voice as we learn in an article from The Jerusalem Post:

US President Donald Trump announced that the temporary US-Iran ceasefire will be extended until Iranian officials submit a “unified proposal” for discussion in a post on Truth Social on Tuesday. The decision to extend the ceasefire, which was set to expire on Wednesday, was made “based on the fact that the Government of Iran is seriously fractured” and upon the request of Pakistani officials, Trump stated.

With Iranian political leaders and military leaders sending mixed signals this was to be expected. However, both internal sides know that they are on fumes and need a deal to have any chance at survival. Part of that pressure is the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz:

In addition to the ceasefire extension, the US blockade on the Strait of Hormuz will also continue, he clarified.

If anyone sees the extension as hopeful the report dashes those hopes:

Earlier on Tuesday, Iranian semi-official Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-tied outlet, Tasnim, reported that Iranian officials had decided not to attend the second round of talks in Pakistan.

A senior Iranian official also told Reuters that Iran may consider attending talks if "Washington abandons its policy of pressure and threats," adding that Tehran rejects negotiations aimed at surrender.

They went on to accuse the US of causing more trouble than they are ending:

The official accused Washington of "creating new obstacles every day instead of resolving the differences" to end the war and stated that Pakistan was continuing efforts to persuade the United States to lift its naval blockade on the Strait of Hormuz.

Because of these views the US isn’t sending anyone to negotiate for now and is instead bringing people to the US to from the Middle East to determine their next steps:

The Jerusalem Post also learned that US Vice President JD Vance's trip to Pakistan for the talks had been canceled. US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has been called to return to Washington in order to participate in discussions on the developing situation with Iran, N12 also reported on Tuesday.

And if you need more evidence that this won’t end peacefully we hear that Iran is getting ready for one last military response:

Iran's armed forces are ready to deliver an "immediate and decisive response" to any renewed hostile action by its adversaries, a senior Iranian military commander also said on Tuesday, according to semi-official Tasnim news agency. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said that Iran would not accept negotiations beneath the shadow of threats, and is prepared to reveal new cards on the battlefield in a post on his X/Twitter account.

As I continue to study Bible prophecy I can see how it aligns with what will happen next. Cities in Lebanon like Tyre and Sidon where Hezbollah has weapons stored will be destroyed (see Ezekiel 28:20-26 and Ps 83:6-8) and Iran still has more parts to be attacked and destroyed like is noted in Jeremiah 49:34-39. And all of these prophecies could be fulfilled quickly. So no, I don’t see a peace deal ending all these areas being attacked. Instead, I see these radical Muslims going down with a fight, a fight that will end their reign of terror on Israel and the US.
