Israel At War Day 676
Starving For Truth
More Hamas Lies
We’ve exposed the lies Hamas is peddling about starvation in Gaza and how they are starving along with hostages. This is nothing new really and even on my last podcast I was accused of being a terrorist and genocidal because I don’t believe the real genocidal actors in this war. However they are up to their old tricks of using journalists who are really leaders in their army and then yelling about them being killed as happened Sunday evening and in a report from The Media Line:
Anas al-Sharif, Al Jazeera’s most senior correspondent in Gaza, was killed Sunday night in an Israeli airstrike near Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. The IDF said the strike specifically targeted al-Sharif, describing him as “the head of a terrorist cell in the Hamas terrorist organization” responsible for advancing rocket attacks on Israeli civilians and troops.
Of course those who think that al-Sharif is just a journalist don’t see things that way:
According to Palestinian sources, the strike hit a tent used by journalists, killing al-Sharif and another reporter, Mohammad Kariqa. The IDF released a statement at midnight, asserting that al-Sharif “posed as a journalist” and that intelligence documents— including personnel rosters, training course lists, phone directories, and salary records— proved his Hamas military role and integration within the Qatari-owned network.
Just so you know, the IDF doesn’t just shoot homes indiscriminately like Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran who target civilian targets all the time, with the international press turning a blind eye. But al-Sharif is quick to point fingers when it hurst Israel and helps Hamas:
Al-Sharif, 29, from Jabalia, was among the few veteran reporters remaining in Gaza. Earlier in the war, his home was struck and his father killed. Minutes before his death, he posted on social media about “relentless bombing” in Gaza City and shared video footage of the strikes.
Israel maintains that it only targets Hamas leadership and goes to great lengths to have evidence of their targets. And they fully intend to continue to perform such attacks:
The IDF said the operation was part of its continuing campaign against Hamas leadership and infrastructure. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday announced plans to intensify military operations in Gaza, targeting remaining Hamas strongholds.
Al Jazeera who is heavily funded by Hamas-supporting Qatar continues to say he was only a journalist:
Al Jazeera confirmed al-Sharif’s death, saying the tent was hit in a “targeted Israeli attack” that also killed four colleagues, including cameramen. The network claimed more than 200 journalists have been killed in Gaza since the war began.
Like Hamas, Al Jazeera reports numbers of casualties without noting who are terrorists and who are not. The United Nations is the same way although they keep putting up the façade of being neutral. We still remember how UN facilities and schools held weapons and were used as attack sites. The Red Cross had Hamas flags on their vehicles as they took released hostages to Israel. This is a war and there will be civilians hurt or harmed. But we need to call out Hamas tactics like an operative acting as a journalist or wearing civilian clothes as they fight.
More Pressure Needed
While one official on his negotiation team is in the news for saying less military action is needed In Gaza, his boss President Trump thinks there needs to be more military action as we see in a report from World Israel News:
Speaking to Axios, U.S. President Donald Trump said he doesn’t think Hamas will release the hostages now and added that “more military pressure is needed.”
Still, sending diplomats isn’t a totally futile effort since it is possible that the increased pressure could work, but Trump isn’t hopeful:
Despite sending special envoy Steve Witkoff repeatedly to the Middle East to negotiate a cease-fire and hostage release deal, Trump now acknowledges that such an agreement is not likely to materialize.
“They [Hamas] are not going to release the hostages in the current situation. I think it will be very difficult to achieve that,” he said.
The usually glib Trump didn’t talk about the current plans to take Gaza City back:
Trump didn’t indicate whether he approved of the Israeli prime minister’s decision to scale up military operations in Gaza and take Gaza City.
Netanyahu did mention that he and Trump did talk yesterday:
However, Netanyahu’s office confirmed that the two leaders spoke on the phone Sunday and discussed Israel’s plans to capture Gaza City, defeat Hamas and release the hostages.
Trump thinks the call went well:
Trump also referred to the conversation and called it “a good call.”
He then said the one thing all of us should have on our minds:
Trump stated that Hamas “cannot stay in Gaza” and declared it was important to “remember October 7.”
“I have one thing to say: Remember October 7, remember October 7,” Trump told Axios, echoing Netanyahu’s statements during his press conference that “there are those who have forgotten October 7.”
Talks of the two world leaders being at odds always seems to crop up when Hamas is in danger of being finally defeated. Netanyahu called such rumors as false:
Last week, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed as “fake news” NBC’s reports that U.S. President Donald Trump yelled at the premier on the phone concerning allegations of starvation in Gaza. The PMO stated that the report was “completely false” and characterized it as “fake news.”
Still the lamestream media tries to create a rift that isn’t there:
In yet another case of the media reporting a rift between close allies Netanyahu and Trump, NBC, citing two Israeli officials, said that Trump yelled at Netanyahu on the phone in July.
The PM also said that he informed the US president there is no starvation crisis happening:
Netanyahu told Trump that, contrary to what Hamas was telling the media, there is no starvation in Gaza.
Trump’s Special Middle East Envoy, Steve Witkoff even said that after actually seeing Gaza that
There is no such crisis. The actual starvation is about truth being told. We simply aren’t getting enough of that these days.
