Where Is The Uranium?

In a nuclear game of where’s Waldo, so many people are saying that Iran moved it before the strikes by the US and some say it is under the rubble in Fordow. We explore the many reports starting with one from i24news.tv:

European countries believe that Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium remains intact, according to a report in the Financial Times on Thursday, despite claims by the Trump administration that the Iranian nuclear program has been "obliterated."

The US joined Israel's 12-day war against Iran last weekend, targeting Fordow and other facilities in Natanz and Isfahan. At Fordow, the underground nuclear enrichment facility, the US dropped a dozen GBU-57A/B bunker busters, also known as the massive ordnance penetrator (MOP).

Europe sources agree that the site was hit very hard:

A preliminary intelligence assessment stated that the strike caused "extensive damages, but not full structural destruction" of the Fordow facility.

These sources went on to dispute Trump’s assessments:

While US President Donald Trump and his administration have said that the nuclear program had been destroyed, and that the uranium stockpile is believed to have been inside Fordow, the Financial Times cited two sources briefed on the intelligence assessments that said the 408 kilograms (900 pounds) of highly enriched uranium had been moved.

The nations offering information think Iran moved it:

The European countries, which were not named, believe the stockpile had been divided and distributed to other locations. This has been suggested by Iranian officials as well.

Trump still maintains that nothing was moved in a report from The Jerusalem Post:

US President Donald Trump said nothing was moved from Iranian nuclear facilities targeted by American strikes, echoing his Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who earlier on Thursday said he was unaware of any intelligence suggesting Iran had moved its uranium to shield it from US strikes over the weekend.

The US President added this from his Truth Social account:

The cars and small trucks at the site were those of concrete workers trying to cover up the top of the shafts. Nothing was taken out of facility. Would take too long, too dangerous, and very heavy and hard to move!

The European information only says it was based on preliminary intelligence but failed to cite where it actually came from making the anonymous account suspect.

Hegseth Knows Better

The US Secretary of Defense decide it was time to set the record straight in an article from WND.com:

Appearing with Trump at The Hague was U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who stressed Iran's nuclear weapons program is indeed "obliterated."

He cited the pilots who dropped the bombs as part of his reasoning:

"Those that dropped the bombs precisely in the right place know exactly what happened when that exploded," Hegseth said.

Hegseth then said that someone else knows how much damage was done:

"And you know who else knows? Iran. That's why they came to the table right away because their nuclear capabilities have been set back beyond what they thought were possible because of the courage of a commander in chief who led our troops despite what the fake news wants to say."

He then commended his pilots and those that helped them pull off the mission:

He continued: "The skill and the courage it took to go into enemy territory flying 36 hours on behalf of the American people and the world to take out a nuclear program is beyond what anyone in this audience can fathom.

The Secretary of Defense then turned his ire directly at those who disputed their assessment:

"And then the intact, the instinct of CNN, the instinct of the New York Times is to try to find a way to spin it for their own political reasons to try to hurt President Trump or our country. They don't care what the troops think. They don't care what the world thinks. They want to spin it to try to make him look bad based on a leak."

He then rightly questioned the motives of these anonymous sources:

"What do leakers do? They have agendas. And what do they do? Do they share the whole information or just the part that they want to introduce."

Hegseth sarcastically said this to those giving these false assessments:

"Why is there low confidence [in the damage assessment]? Because all of the evidence of what was just bombed by twelve 30,000-pound bombs is buried under a mountain, devastated and obliterated. So if you want to make an assessment of what happened at Fordow, you better get a big shovel and go really deep, because Iran's nuclear program is obliterated."

Going back to President Trump these additional comments were posted on this X account:

We've collected additional intelligence, and we've also spoken to people who have seen the site—and the site is obliterated!

Ultimately people who hate anything Trump does or also hate Israel are going to latch onto any reports that make them both look bad. And you will waste your time arguing with them. Even if there is evidence from those sites showing how pulverized they were they will not believe it. But Hegseth is right that you simply can’t drop twelve 30,000-pound bombs on a site and think that anything survived. And looking at satellite images of trucks can’t tell you what was happening unless you pair it with someone who actually knows what they were doing. Overall I trust Israeli sources from inside Iran before I would ever give credence to the lamestream media who have been wrong on just about everything concerning a big story. And I would never trust any Iranian source on how effective the bombing was. What I can definitely say is that we need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem because this Middle East conflict is far from over and Israel is still in danger from all sides. Pray that Israel can finally end these threats once and for all.
