He Knows

According to a report in The Jerusalem Post US President Donald Trump doesn’t want a nuclear deal, he wants something much more permanent:

US President Donald Trump posted to Truth Social on Tuesday, saying that the US knows where Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is hiding, but that they won't "take him out" yet.

Some said that Israel could have targeted Khamenei before, but Trump told them not to do it. It appears Trump has changed his mind on the issue:

"We know exactly where the so-called “Supreme Leader” is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there - We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now."

Trump does say that there is a line that Iran could cross if they want the US to get involved:

"But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

He then said this on social media which would make things much easier for him and Israel, but something they will never, I repeat never do:

Trump, minutes later, posted "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!"

If actions do speak louder than words we know that the US is sending more assets to the region:

This came as American air and seacraft began arriving at US bases across Europe and the Middle East.

Some of the planes include F-16s, F-22s, and F-35s as well as a significant number of air tankers.

And it seems that Trump is sounding a lot like Netanyahu now:

This comes only hours after Trump announced that the US had control of Iranian skies, something the IDF had announced a few days prior.

"We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American-made, conceived, and manufactured “stuff.” Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA."

Trump isn’t the only one contemplating an assassination.

They’re Your Enemy, Too

Netanyahu intimated that they, too, know where the Supreme leader is and that taking him out would essentially end the war as we see in an article from Breitbart.com:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that eliminating Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would not escalate tensions, but rather would help “end the conflict” by removing the threat posed by the theocratic regime, likening Iran’s Supreme Leader to “a modern Hitler” while warning that Tehran’s ambitions extend far beyond Israel.

While I think the comparisons to Hitler are getting used too many times, Netanyahu is actually right. And then in that popular interview over the weekend, the PM also talked about targeting the Iranian Supreme leader:

In an interview with ABC News on Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was pressed on whether Israel would target Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, to which he replied that Israel was “doing what we need to do” before making a bold declaration: “It’s not going to escalate the conflict, it’s going to end the conflict.”

There are some who think that Khamenei knows he’s being targeted, which is why he’s turned the war plans to his military. It does make sense. And then yet another Hitler reference came up:

When asked about a recent report suggesting that President Donald Trump had rejected Israeli plans to assassinate Khamenei, Netanyahu highlighted Israel’s ongoing operations. “I’m not going to get into the details, but we’ve targeted their top nuclear scientists,” he noted. “It’s basically Hitler’s nuclear team.”

Netanyahu then added an international logic to the attacks on Iran:

Netanyahu framed Israel’s actions as a matter of international security, warning that Iran’s ambitions pose a direct threat to the United States:

“Today, it’s Tel Aviv. Tomorrow, it’s New York. Look, I understand ‘America First.’ I don’t understand ‘America Dead.’ That’s what these people want. They chant ‘Death to America.’ So we’re doing something that is in the service of mankind, of humanity, and it’s a battle of good against evil. America does, should, and does stand with the good. That’s what President Trump is doing, and I deeply appreciate his support.”

And now both Netanyahu and Trump are saying they are through with negotiations:

The Israeli prime minister also brushed aside reports that Iran was signaling a willingness to negotiate, calling any diplomatic overtures a sham. “They want to continue to have these fake talks in which they lie, they cheat, they string the U.S. along,” he said. “We have very solid intel on that.”

Even if talks started up again, Israel like it says about Hamas hostage negotiations, won’t stop the fighting:

Despite mounting tensions, Netanyahu insisted Israel will continue its operations against Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

“They want to keep on building their nuclear weapons and building their mass ballistic missile arsenal, which they’re firing at our people,” he said. “They want to continue to create the two existential threats against Israel while they’re talking — that’s not going to happen.”

The PM then addressed politicians in America who don’t want to get into the fray:

Asked to respond to some Republicans and other figures who oppose U.S. military support for Israel’s strikes against Iran, Netanyahu reiterated the gravity of the threat. “We’re not just fighting our enemy. We’re fighting your enemy. For God’s sake, they chant ‘Death to Israel, Death to America.’ We’re simply on their way. And this could reach America soon.”

Although I didn’t cite it, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz says that Israel is “doing the dirty work for the rest of us’ with Iran strikes.” And he’s right. Those in America who say that this fight with Iran isn’t theirs fail to see the bigger picture. They refuse to take Iran’s plans to retaliate against the US seriously. And when Netanyahu connects the dots for them they develop amnesia. Well I for one see things for what they are. I pray others do as well.
