Israel At War – Day 391

Bible Prophecy Unfolding

Still Hitting Them

As diplomats rush to get a ceasefire deal between Hezbollah and Israel, the IDF continues to hit the terrorist’s weapons supplies as we read in a report from i24news.tv:

In an incursion into Syria, Israeli war planes on Thursday struck arms depots and command centers belonging to Hezbollah's armaments unit and the elite Radwan Force, the military spokesperson said.

The operation took place in the Qusayr region near the Lebanese border.

We continue to see that the terrorist network is sprawling and the job of demilitarizing them could take years to destroy:

It is understood that the Shiite group's armaments unit oversees arms storage in Lebanon and has recently expanded operations into Syria, setting up a logistical network for the transfer of arms via border crossings.

This article is yet another reason why it now makes sense that Israel will destroy the city of Damascus as seen in Isaiah 17:

The special word about Damascus: “See, Damascus will no longer be a city. It will be destroyed and laid waste. 2 The cities of Aroer are left empty. They will be for the flocks to lie down in, and no one will make them afraid. 3 The strong city will be gone from Ephraim. Damascus will no longer rule. And those of Syria who are left alive will be like the shining-greatness of the sons of Israel,” says the Lord of All. (Isa 17:1-3, NLV)

As we are learning more and more, Iran is funneling weapons to Hezbollah through the Damascus airport and then these military supplies are stored in the city. In any war one of the ways to win against an enemy is to cut off the supplies of their weapons so they can’t rearm. The IDF is doing just that in Syria, Lebanon, and even Iran. As I’ve said many times before, the closer we get to a prophecy fulfilled the more sense it will make. I know that sounds a little too simple, but it is true. And right now the destruction of Damascus fits perfectly in this environment of war in the Middle East region.

And Now The Truth Comes Out

As we knew earlier, the strike on Iran was more devastating that the Iranians previously admitted to and is the major reason they are planning another strike. We are told that in an article from The Times Of Israel:

The New York Times cites three Iranian officials who say that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei instructed the Supreme National Security Council on Monday to prepare for attacking Israel after reviewing the damage caused by Israel’s retaliatory strike earlier this month and determining that it was too major to ignore.

Iran is considering military sites in Israel just like Israel did to them:

The officials say that military commanders are preparing a list of dozens of potential military targets in Israel.

Now their strike is thought to be after the US elections when they earlier said it would hit Israel before them:

The retaliatory attack is unlikely to take place before the US presidential election, as Tehran fears another spike in regional tensions could benefit Republican nominee Donald Trump, the officials tell NYT.

We learn more from an article seen in The Jerusalem Post although the report still thinks it could happen before the election:

Israeli intelligence suggests Iran is preparing to attack Israel from Iraqi territory in the coming days, possibly before the US presidential election on Nov. 5, Axios reported on Thursday, citing two unidentified Israeli sources.

The attack appears to try and overwhelm Israel’s missile systems like the Iron Dome, a strategy we’ve known for some time:

The attack is expected to be carried out from Iraq using a large number of drones and ballistic missiles, the Axios report added.

Iran might use its proxies to carry out the attack this time in the hopes that Israel will not associate it with them and strike them again:

The report said that carrying out the attack through pro-Iran militias in Iraq could be an attempt by Tehran to avoid another Israeli attack against strategic targets in Iran.

They are most certainly talking about this very seriously:

Later on Thursday, a New York Times report, citing three Iranian sources, said that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had already on Monday, ordered Iran's Supreme National Security Council to prepare to strike Israel.

And this report also alludes to how hard Israel hit them as the reason for the strike:

According to the report, Khamenei's decision came after an examination of the scope of the damage sustained by Iran's missile production infrastructure and air defense systems as a result of Israel's retaliatory strike last week.

So Iran is finally admitting that Israel and the IDF really did hit them intensely and did significant damage to them. And I might add that the mention of involving the Iranian proxies fits well with what is mentioned in the Psalm 83 war prophecies.
