Israel At War – Day 221
Devious Hamas Tactics
Evidence Of Hamas Subterfuge
The IDF made public that Hamas is using United Nations facilities and even vehicles to work in Gaza showcasing how devious they are and that the UN could very well be complicit with the terrorist group. We read about this in an article from The Jerusalem Post:
The IDF revealed on Tuesday that during operational activity in eastern Rafah on Saturday, terrorists were identified in UNRWA’s central logistics compound alongside UN vehicles.
In the footage, several terrorists and gunfire can be seen near UN vehicles and in the area of UNRWA's logistics warehouse compound in eastern Rafah, which is a central point for the distribution of aid on UNRWA’s behalf in the Gaza Strip.
The Israelis government is calling for the UN to look into the matter:
Following the event, representatives of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) conveyed the findings to senior officials in the international community and called on the UN to conduct an urgent investigation into the matter.
The IDF is concerned for civilians as well:
In addition, COGAT representatives warned the UN against the presence of terrorists in the area and the seriousness of the danger their presence brings to the logistics center compound concerning the continued protection of the organization's facilities.
Adding to the news, the IDF assured anyone that they are continuing to help give out help to civilians as well:
The IDF promised at the end of the announcement that it would continue to act in accordance with international law to distribute aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
We shouldn’t be surprised that Hamas is doing all of this since they have done it again and again in the past. They are perfectly fine with using even their children as human shields and even suicide bombers. They’ve hidden in rooms of children in their nurseries and homes and stored weapons in schools, places of worship and hospitals. And yet still people support them. The spirit of delusion and of the antichrist truly has people blinded to the truth.
More Hamas Tactics Revealed
And now we learn about how Hamas controlled Gazans using Nazi Germany tactics. More about this is seen in a report from i24news.tv:
Recent revelations by The New York Times have shed light on the existence of a secret police force in Gaza, operated by Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, aimed at suppressing dissent and opposition to the militant group's rule.
The force, known as the General Security Service, reportedly operated similarly to the East German Stasi, monitoring and compiling files on thousands of civilians perceived as threats to Hamas' authority.
Hamas was not in favor of free speech or anyone speaking out against them:
According to documents seized in the Gaza Strip, the General Security Service targeted various segments of society, including journalists, young activists, and individuals critical of Hamas' governance. Participation in demonstrations against Hamas officials or any aspect of the group's rule, as well as public criticism of the organization, led to investigations and surveillance by the secret police.
The primary objective of this clandestine operation was to quash all forms of dissent within Gaza, with journalists subjected to surveillance and intimidation, online criticism of Hamas erased from social media platforms, and protests against the group swiftly suppressed. The scale of the operation is staggering, with files on at least 10,000 Gazans reportedly created between 2016 and 2023.
And why does anyone trust their reports on anything such as how many people have died in Gaza or really anything else? They tell lies about things and apparently had a significant enterprise fully staffed and funded to keep anyone inside Gaza from telling the truth to their fellow citizens or even internationally:
The General Security Service, comprised of 856 agents, operated with a significant monthly budget of $120,000, as detailed by The New York Times. The existence of such a force underscores the lengths to which Hamas has gone to maintain its grip on power in Gaza and silence opposition voices.
The more we learn about this terrorist group the more we see why they need to be removed from having even a scintilla of power. And just so anyone might think the Palestinian Authority would be better, they should read up on their history when they were in charge. As for me, Israel needs to be in charge over Gaza and really even the West Bank until whoever is left neither has weapons nor be in charge of educating the public for some time. That should be very clear after both of these recent revelations.
Resettle Gaza Cries Heard
Many from the political right held a rally calling for Israel to resettle in Gaza if the area is to free from terrorists as we are told from an article in The Times Of Israel:
Cabinet ministers and MKs called for the rebuilding of Jewish settlements in Gaza at an ultra-nationalist march and rally attended by thousands in the town of Sderot, close to the Gaza border on Tuesday.
The crowd listened as voluntary relocation of any Gazans to another part of the world was promoted:
National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir declared that the “voluntary emigration” of Palestinians from Gaza should be promoted, Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi insisted that the resettling of Gaza was the only way to ensure Israeli security, and Religious Zionism MK Zvi Sukkot blamed the October 7 massacres on the 2005 Disengagement Plan.
That 2005 plan resulted in Jews being forced to leave Gaza to allow Palestinians to occupy the land all to themselves. The rally was well attended:
Organizers claimed that some 50,000 people turned up for the Independence Day march promoted under the banner of building Jewish settlements in Gaza from where some 15 settlements and around 8,500 settlers were evacuated in 2005.
They did get the attention of Hamas:
During the march, Palestinian terror groups in Gaza fired three rockets at Sderot, forcing the participants to lie flat during the event due to the lack of cover. The rockets were intercepted by air defense systems, the Sderot Municipal Authority said.
Ben Gvir spoke about how to end the problems of terrorism in Gaza:
“To end the problem, in order that the problem won’t come back, we need to do two things: one return to Gaza now! Return home! Return to our holy land! said Ben Gvir from the stage of the rally set up at the end of the march.
“And second, encourage emigration. Encourage the voluntary departure of Gaza’s residents…It is ethical! It is rational! It is right! It is the truth! It is the Torah and it is the only way! And yes, it is humane,” he continued.
Others echoed this sentiment:
Karhi, a hard-right member of the Likud party, made similar comments.
“In order to preserve the security achievements for which so many of our troops gave up their lives for, we must settle Gaza, with security forces and with settlers,” said Karhi at the rally.
“This is not because there is no other option, but out of a deep understanding that this is the only real way, both to exact a heavy price from the Nazis, from Hamas, and to protect our people and our homeland. We will wipe out the disgrace of the year 2005 with settlement in the year 2024-2025, God willing,” said the minister.
After decrying the 2005 decision, Zvi Sukkot said what many are saying about where the Gazans should move to:
Sukkot, like Ben Gvir, also called to promote Palestinian emigration from Gaza, adding that Israel should “tell the countries of the world who with hypocritical morality care for the Gazans that they [Gazans] will be much safer with them in other countries. If they love them so much, South Africa should take the residents of Jabaliya.”
The international community as well as Netanyahu reject the notion of Gazans finding new homes after Hamas is defeated. The United States calls such talk “inflammatory and irresponsible.” Only time will tell how things will stabilize in Gaza and the West Bank, but we can pray specially for how God wants this area to be peaceful and secure. And pray for the peace of Jerusalem as I always encourage us to do.
