It’s Only Started

Back in June of last year the US hit Iran’s nuclear and ballistic sites severely setting them back. Then it was an attack that lasted hours and back them Trump warned Iran to not rebuild them. He also said that if they did revive those programs the next attack would be like nothing they’ve never seen. Now we are seeing an offensive that won’t last days, but weeks as we see in an article from CBN.com:

The war between the U.S., Israel, and Iran is entering a more dangerous phase. Iran is now striking diplomatic sites in the region, while the United States and Israel intensify their campaign inside Iran. President Trump is signaling that the fight could last for weeks.

Iran is making the reasoning for more strikes even stronger:

The conflict continues to expand, with American forces and diplomatic sites now directly in the crosshairs. Two Iranian drones hit the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia's capital of Riyadh early on Tuesday, according to Saudi officials. The attack caused what Saudi Arabia's defense ministry described as a "limited fire" with minor damage. It followed an attack the day before on the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait, a sign that Iran is attempting to increase its warfare.

Saudi Arabia is considering getting in the fight while other nations are coming against Iran at least verbally, countries that once supported Iran. And we may not know the internal plans, but US President Donald Trump is hinting that 4 – 5 weeks of fighting is ahead:

At the same time, the United States and Israel are stepping up attacks inside Iran. President Donald Trump suggested that this may be only the beginning of a sustained campaign that could last more than a month.

Trump is even talking about ground troops going into Iran:

In an interview with The New York Post, Trump refused to rule out sending American troops into Iran "if they were necessary."

He then noted he is not being ruled by public opinion on that prospect:

“I don't care about the polling," he said, and added, "I don't have the yips with respect to boots on the ground."

Israel Had No Alternative

As for the other country doing the fighting, Israel saw no alternative to attacking:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicated that Israel had no choice, calling the threat "urgent."

Some are saying Israel dragged the US into the fight while others are saying that Trump pulled Netanyahu into attacking. A report from The Times Of Israel suggests Israel wouldn’t attack unless Trump allowed them to:

Israel would not have attacked Iran if US President Donald Trump had not approved the joint US-Israel attacks that were launched on Saturday, a senior Israeli official tells Channel 12 news.

The comments come soon after Trump told reporters at the White House that Israel did not drag the US into the war.

“The coordination between the two countries was very deep,” the unnamed official says, according to the network. “If Trump had not given the green light, we would not have acted.”

Going back to the CBN article we hear from Netanyahu on why they had to take action:

Netanyahu stated, “After we hit their nuclear sites and their ballistic missiles program, you'd think they learned a lesson. But they didn't, because they're unreformable. They're totally fanatic about this, about the goal of destroying America. So they started building new sites, new places, underground bunkers that would make their ballistic missile program and their atomic bomb program immune within months.”

Much More To Come

Trump, who surely knows the military plans of both countries told one news source that what we’ve seen so far is nothing like what is to come:

In an interview with CNN, Trump warned that the largest phase of strikes is still ahead.

"We haven't started hitting them hard," Trump cautioned. "The big wave hasn't even happened. The big one is coming soon."

What we also know is that these strikes weren’t weeks in the planning:

The current escalation follows a targeted Israeli air strike several days ago in Tehran that killed Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Sources now say that the strike was the culmination of a years-long intelligence campaign. Israel reportedly penetrated Tehran's surveillance infrastructure, including traffic camera networks, and built detailed assessments of Khamenei's movements.

A person inside Israel’s surveillance arm was very clear why they are able to strike so precisely:

One current Israeli intelligence official said, "We knew Tehran like we know Jerusalem."

From a Bible prophecy standpoint, we should expect more, not less fireworks. And the Iranian proxies are going to be very active when Iran is getting hammered by the US and Israel. Make sure you remember that I said that now. Not so much because I saw it coming, but because the Bible told us this thousands of years before and we need to realize that things prophecy teachers for decades wondered about are unfolding around us at breakneck speed. Yes, we need to be thankful to God that we are blessed to be around it now, but we also need to use these verses to witness to those who need Jesus. God isn’t wanting to scare us but prepare us for the plans He has for us. We need to work now, because the night is coming when no man can work.
