The Stalling Is Over

In a stunning yet totally expected move both the US and Israel began military strikes on Iran in the early morning hours today. The US is calling its offensive Operation Epic Fury and Israel’s offensive is called Operation Roaring Lion. As I reported yesterday, US President Donald Trump said he wasn’t happy with the way negotiations were going in Geneva and was coy about if strikes would be coming. As we’re seeing now, talks are definitely over. President Trump issued a statement addressing the American public, Iranian leaders in both the government and the military and to the Iranian people:

A short time ago, the United States military began major combat operations in Iran. Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime. A vicious group of very hard, terrible people. Its menacing activities directly endanger the United States, our troops, our bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world.

Trump then went on to detail Iran’s history with the US starting with the infamous 444 day hostage ordeal, the Beirut bombing in 1983 that killed 241 US military personnel. He mentioned the attack on the USS Cole in 2000 and then brought us to current times with Iran and its proxies attacking in the Middle East region. Of course he referred to the attack on October 7, 2023 which included 46 Americans killed and 12 taken hostage. He then said this:

It’s been mass terror, and we’re not going to put up with it any longer.

Trump then laid out his logic for the current attacks:

Iran is the world’s number one state sponsor of terror, and just recently killed tens of thousands of its own citizens on the street as they protested. It has always been the policy of the United States, in particular my administration, that this terrorist regime can never have a nuclear weapon. I’ll say it again, they can never have a nuclear weapon. That is why in Operation Midnight Hammer last June, we obliterated the regime’s nuclear program at Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan. After that attack, we warned them never to resume their malicious pursuit of nuclear weapons, and we sought repeatedly to make a deal. We tried. They wanted to do it. They didn’t want to do it. Again, they wanted to do it. They didn’t want to do it. They didn’t know what was happening. They just wanted to practice evil. But Iran refused, just as it has for decades and decades.

As we know, Iran never really stopped their nuclear and ballistic programs and only wanted to talk and talk about doing it.

The Ongoing Mission

And now Iran is getting blasted by the US and Israel, Trump laid out the US offensive this way:

For these reasons, the United States military is undertaking a massive and ongoing operation to prevent this very wicked, radical dictatorship from threatening America and our core national security interests. We’re going to destroy their missiles and raze their missile industry to the ground. It will be totally again obliterated. We’re going to annihilate their navy. We’re going to ensure that the region’s terrorist proxies can no longer destabilize the region or the world and attack our forces, and no longer use their IEDs, or roadside bombs as they are sometimes called, to so gravely wound and kill thousands and thousands of people, including many Americans. And we will ensure that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon. It’s a very simple message. They will never have a nuclear weapon.

I should note that Trump mentions not just Iran but their proxies in this mission. That’s an important distinction. This means Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthi rebels in Yemen and all the others who are involved in the ring of terror surrounding Israel. Make no mistake, the US and Israel are working in tandem now to eliminate the threat and more importantly, overthrow the Iranian regime once and for all. Trump then mentions that the US military is strong but there could be casualties and for us to cover them in prayer. And then he adds that the mission will have long lasting effects:

But we’re doing this not for now. We’re doing this for the future.

The Future Of Iran

Trump offered safety and immunity to Iranian officials if they surrendered, something I highly doubt they will do:

To the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard, the armed forces, and all of the police, I say tonight that you must lay down your weapons and have complete immunity. Or in the alternative, face certain death. So, lay down your arms. You will be treated fairly with total immunity, or you will face certain death.

He then made the statement that the protesters needed to hear:

…Finally, to the great proud people of Iran, I say tonight that the hour of your freedom is at hand. Stay sheltered. Don’t leave your home. It’s very dangerous outside. Bombs will be dropping everywhere. When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take. This will be probably your only chance for generations. For many years, you have asked for America’s help. But you never got it. No president was willing to do what I am willing to do tonight. Now you have a president who is giving you what you want. So let’s see how you respond. America is backing you with overwhelming strength and devastating force. Now is the time to seize control of your destiny, and to unleash the prosperous and glorious future that is close within your reach. This is the moment for action. Do not let it pass.

So now we wait, but the scene is being set for a vastly different atmosphere in the region.

Bible Prophecy Views

Some will ask if what we’re seeing is predicted in Bible Prophecy. To be honest, it’s too early to tell. In the podcast yesterday, Robin Bullock listed words he received and they mentioned Iran getting hit hard which is certainly happening. He also talked about the people of Iran being freed which is definitely in process. And He also mentioned Arab nations turning their back on Iran which is happening since Iran is hitting them in their military responses. Saudi Arabia is getting ready to join the fight which makes sense as they have always loathed Iran having any power in the region. Nations attacked so far are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, and Jordan. They were attacked because of the US military bases in them which we knew would happen as Iran all but pointed that out on the social media posts. In a post from the Telegram page of Amir Tsarfati, we read this:

Saudi Foreign Ministry: Strongly condemns the brutal Iranian aggression and the blatant violation of the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan, emphasizing its full solidarity and support for the sister countries. All its capabilities are intended to support them in all the steps they take. Warns of the serious consequences of continued violations of the sovereignty of the countries.

Bullock gave these prophetic words and all of them are currently happening. However, the Bible mentions events that haven’t happened but could. In Jeremiah 49:34-39 we’re told about an area of modern day Iran that was called Elam that will be hit and destroyed by Israel. That area currently is part of Iran’s nuclear program and wasn’t hit last June. The prophecy mentions that the people there would scatter which could be due to nuclear fallout. There is of course the total destruction of Damascus as seen in Isaiah 17:1 which could happen to stop the flow of terrorist weapons and even troops that come from there now. And in Zephaniah 2:4-7 mentioned the destruction of Gaza which could finally happen as part of this offensive. The destruction of Tyre and Sidon seen in Ezekiel 28 are yet to happen and they just happen to be where Hezbollah stores weapons now. But the big wars could be set up now by this offensives.

Wars Yet To Come

The two conflicts seen in Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 aren’t happening now but could be set up now. For my money, the Psalm 83 war could occur in response to the Iranian attacks as they could order their proxies to retaliate against Israel. And the war of Gog and Magog pieces could be put into place if Iran is devastated and needs the help of Russia, Turkey and others to finally destroy Israel once and for all. Right now, neither of these are currently happening, at least not in my view. But it’s early. The assassinations of Iran’s leaders are in progress with many already taken out. The power vacuum could lead to a future resurgence of new leaders if the next leaders falter. We simply don’t know how it will happen. What I do know is that however long these US and Israeli offensives take, the Bible foresaw them and we need to watch the news with our Bibles by our sides. These are Biblical days folks and exciting times are coming. We need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem as we’re told in Psalm 122:6. Iran is far from defeated and they are warning they have only used the oldest of their weapons so far and it is highly likely that they will unleash more on Israel sooner than later. Intercede and fight in the heavenlies as God is moving the prophetic chess pieces into place right before our eyes.
