Banging The Drum Again.
I’m not sure why, but this is the third time I’ve addressed the future fate of America, but as I prayed about this lesson it came up again. My previous lessons addressed the battle for the soul of America and the other one about whether the America was still the beautiful country written about in that song. Now, I’m going down another road which is all about prophecies given back just after the Civil War that appear to be happening now. Not all of it is bad as if we can determine the goodness or badness of prophecies ahead of time so I need to be careful, but I hardly can consider natural disasters like tsunamis or earthquakes nice. However, there are parts that are uncannily accurate, so much so they could have been ripped from our headlines. Put together, these prophetic words, given to a group of people who gathered and fasted and prayed after they had just left one of the most divisive and troubling times in our country then asked God what the future held for America, are intriguing to say the least.
