2024 - Oh What A Prophetic Year!

We Knew It Would Be Wild

When I gave my preview of 2024 the two words were chaos and distraction and looking back on the last 12 months I’d say it qualified. Just the fact that it was a presidential election year pretty much meant it would be chaotic if 2020 was an example. With Covid and then election shenanigans it was very unusual. Add to the mix all the prophecies leading up to and then after that election and you had a year that was certainly out of the ordinary. The lead up to 2024 had more than it’s share of ups and downs and I for one knew that all the hopes of how the election would turn out was certainly on my mind. I dare say I was not alone on that as multitudes of Christians who believed in Bible prophecy spent more than a few hours studying the prophetic words given by people like Julie Green, Dutch Sheets, Hank Kunneman, Timothy Dixon, Amanda Grace, Robin Bullock, and lest we forget the late Kim Clement. As it turned out, they were all hearing from God after all. By the way, I’m still waiting for their detractors to apologize for all their criticisms of them. I hope that the prophetic standards website will give the people who signed it a chance to state they missed it.

A Lot Was Riding On It

That would be the presidential election and for good reason. Take out the prophecies and the stakes were sky high all by themselves. I always heard that this election was the most important of our lives since, oh 1980. I don’t dispute that any election is consequential, but after what happened in 2020 and how the country devolved into a mess of social, gender, military, and political confusion for the last four years, well, the true church of God knew something had to change. When I say the true church I mean the ones who believe in the inspired and inerrant Word of God and using that standard to assess how we as a nation are woefully close to Sodom and Gomorrah’s status. So yes, this was a crucial election if for only having someone who did right by the church in 2016 and the hope that he would do the same in 2024. And having a president who fully supports the nation of Israel was a key, too. Considering the choices we had was also a part of how important things were as well. 2024 was chaotic just because of the elections.

The State At The Top

I’m not going to say anything bad about who was in the White House for the last year as a person, but the health of the resident of the Oval office was certainly a part of the chaos we experienced in this year. In the first presidential debate it became patently obvious that Biden was unfit for the office of president for the next four years and pressure built until he resigned from the campaign. Curiously no one saw the hypocrisy of someone not being fit to run for the office staying in that office after dropping out of the race. And then the candidate the Democrats selected was a dumpster fire from the start. Kamala Harris and her word salads bedeviled even her most ardent supporters and it may be why her campaign carefully kept her from press conferences almost the entire time she ran. The contrast between the two parties and their conventions was also chaotic. The Democratic party held their convention in August and they actually had a vehicle dedicated to giving abortions and sterilization of men for free on site. It was hard to watch and yet it was yet another sign that America is hardly one nation, under God. Through it all, God did speak through His prophets first and Trump was elected for a second time. However, I see that the Trump idolatry we were accused of was purged from us. Not everybody thought Trump was our savior, but many felt that we needed him to right a great deal of wrongs. I see a little more balance in this area has been restored and we as the church and those who believe in prophecy see a much longer fight ahead of us, a fight that will have us on our knees for more than the next four years. For those who kept wanting Trump to be back in the oval office sooner, the answer we received is that Trump will get to serve another term, just not the consecutive terms some thought he would. But it wasn’t easy getting those election results.

Two Assassination Attempts

Prophetically myself and at least one other person saw two assassination attempts on Trump’s life which fortunately didn’t succeed. My dream was back in 2022 and like a lot of people who hear from God, it’s not necessarily the vision, dream or word, but the interpretation of them that usually gets people in trouble. In the case of Brandon Biggs he was on a another minister's YouTube channel along with Amanda Grace and gave the details of a dream he had about a bullet that came close to Trump’s ear which turned out to be eerily accurate to what actually happened. He caught a lot of flack for how his retelling of it changed every time but he did see the attempt. In my dream I saw an attack from two women who I knew represented a Jezebel spirit and the hit Trump and he fell down and then bounced right back up just as really happened during the first assassination attempt. All I can say is that July was a crazy month prophetically and politically. But there was so much more to come.

Still Waiting

I recall all the prophetic words leading up to 2024 and the ones that were given this year. While all the attention was on the so-called Trump prophecies, God was speaking about cleaning out the halls of power or as Trump put it, draining the swamp. So many words about an avalanche of exposure are still to be seen, but prophetic hindsight is showing us that the stage is being set. Already key pieces of the swamp are resigning their posts. The swamp is deeper than anyone thought and the words given are being fulfilled although not like we thought they were. In many ways it is playing out much differently than we thought, which is not a bad thing. Timothy Dixon and others received words about deaths in the White House. Those didn’t happen in 2024, but 2025 looks like it will start to see those words that built up over the last four years begin to be fulfilled. But don’t miss the major point and that is that Trump winning the election is a major part of these prophetic words being fulfilled. In many ways we all had it backwards. Our interpretation of the prophetic utterances was that the exposure would put Trump back in the Whitehouse when in reality it seems like God is using his election to clean house.

We Grew Into Our Role

2024 saw many Christians reject the thinking that we need to stay out of politics. Being derided as being Christian Nationalists who only want to turn America into a theocracy, the Body of Christ saw through that lie and got involved in the process at all levels. Those who feared the power and influence of Godly people now see that Christians can’t be bullied by false and misleading labels. And Christians are now willing to get their hands dirty in the process of government and elections because it is their Biblical duty to do so. In 2024 we saw believers run for school boards among other things and win so that a moral influence would be felt from the inside out. We also learned that we have to define ourselves as we truly are and reject the prince of the power of the air’s false prophets definitions of us. We don’t want to put our enemies in prisons and take away their free speech. We simply want a country where we can live out our lives with the convictions given to us by our God-given conscience and to be able to raise our children as we see fit without the government intruding into that process. If there are differences of opinion we want a robust and fair debate of ideas without censorship and violence tipping the scales of that right. In 2024 the Church fought back against gender confusion and the devaluing of life. At the same time, we fought for people who disagreed to have their opinions but fought against those who disagreed with us to lord their views over as being the right way. We voted for people to stop the government controlling us and using its massive weight to bear down on us and crush those who disagree with it. These same people we voted for are expected to bring justice to both those who were innocent and to those who unjustly and illegally pestered. prosecuted, and persecuted its own citizens. We prayed for injustice to stop and those who orchestrated it to face the music so they won’t use it against us again. In 2024 we did the hard work so 2025 will be a time for things to be fair again for all people, not just the ones who agree with us.

Prophecy Got It’s Due

‘In the last days,’ God said, ‘I will pour out my Holy Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men dream dreams. (Acts 2:17, TLB)

Overall, those who heard from God, spoke for Him, and put their reputations on the line for Him were seen for exactly what the office of the prophet should be seen as. At least that’s what should happen. Prophecy in the digital age grew a lot in 2024 and really this year was the culmination of four years of testing, trials, and tribulations from people in and outside the Church world. God poured out His spirit on all flesh as He said He would and He also said that all His people would prophesy and have visions and dreams. This year continued the trend of social media and technology allowing God to communicate with the world in ways no generation could have done before. More and more Christians are hearing from God and are embracing the role of a podcaster to broadcast those prophecies, visions, and dreams to a world inundated with false prophecies inspired by the prince of the power of the airwaves. To be certain, the Devil’s minions are using this technology and in 2024 the Church is catching up to the accuser of the brethren. Satan is using governments to silence God’s children, but we are not taking the command of taking the gospel to all the world lightly. Rather than slowing down, 2024 saw a dramatic increase of the prophetic in all communication venues and freedom of speech and the hope is that the new administration will remove restrictions from our freedoms. Overall, the year was chaotic and gave us a slew of distractions to deal with. With few exceptions, we weathered the storms and are better for it.
