He Removes Kings and Raises Up Kings

There's a verse in Daniel that keeps coming back to mind this week. Daniel wrote, "He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings" (Daniel 2:21). That's exactly the language showing up right now across the prophetic movement - words about thrones shifting, systems falling, and leaders being positioned. Every word below is really a report from somewhere near a throne, whether it's rising, falling, or being reassigned. So this week we're pulling together what's been said over President Trump, Vice President Vance, Secretary Rubio, and the cabinet in just the last few weeks.

My Terms, Not Term Limits

The single most direct word in this whole roundup came from Hank Kunneman, delivered May 17, 2026, at the National Rededication event held as part of America's 250th-anniversary commemorations. He said the Lord spoke plainly about the length of a presidency: "I will cause there to be an extension of terms, my terms" (Hank + Brenda), framing it as an offer extended to Trump specifically, tied to what Kunneman called God's own covenant terms for the nation rather than a purely political extension:

And yet I come at this time, for you seek to rededicate, and you will see my honor. You will see my honor. I will bring an honor to you and to this nation as a reward. And I will honor the president that I raised up. For this is about my terms. And because it is about my terms, says the Spirit of God, I will cause there to be term limits. I will cause there to be termination. And I will cause there to be an extension of terms, my terms, and I will offer it to one who stands in the nation. Pray, for the Lord says, "I seek to do something in your history again. But I seek for a willing heart and a willing people to pay back, to give back what was stolen and what was taken. For these are my terms. For I said to you, I am not done with this man that I raised up. Therefore, what I have anointed him to be, to say, and to do, I seek for it to be my terms, agreed-upon terms. That shall affect the terms of your elections to come, that no man will take him out, and to extend my hand of grace through my terms that shall not only rest upon others in future terms.

Kunneman went on to say this:

"For my finger came in the days of Pharaoh and his occultic magicians, and they could not stand against my power. This is what your gathering today has done, and it will do. For your rededication shall release my dedication of my terms to extend a grace that will be seen through terms extension and others who arise with the same spirit and anointing of this one called Trump.

In the same breath he named a second figure - someone of Cuban descent, favored to be raised to a higher seat alongside Trump, a brief echo of the Rubio speculation he'd first raised back in March:

"Yes, even one who, even though they are of Cuban descent, they will be favored to speak and to be raised up to a higher seat to serve, to stand alongside, and then they themselves to serve. For they are declared a rubio but they shall be a ruby, a gem that shall reflect the conservative red of a new season because of the honor that I hear today. And I receive that no man, no entity, not Satan, shall be able to alter. (WLT Report).

Sweeping of the House

Kunneman didn't stop at the presidency. Still in the same word, he described literally seeing cupboard doors and cabinet doors swing open in the spirit - a picture, he said, of what was coming for the President's own cabinet: a sweeping of the house and a cleansing of the cabinet:

God, I just saw some cupboard doors open, some cabinet doors open, and I hear the Spirit of God saying, "And in this dedication and rededication of the honor of my people, the president's cabinet, the doors are about to open, and a sweeping of the house and a cleansing of the cabinet." And the scepter will pass over some. They will not stand in the seat that they think, and some, their seats will be taken from them and given to another. For this is not just about a rededication. It's about a reset. And God has to do this in the cabinet.

He was careful to say, just another rededication, but a full reset. From there he turned to the judicial branch, describing a major shift on the Supreme Court itself:

I just saw a major shift in the Supreme Court. This will be quickly upon us. I literally saw one fall over, shaken and removed from the bench. Great changes with the executive, the legislative, and the judicial expressions and branches of our government. May your righteousness arise. May your judgments go forth in Yeshua's name.

Kunneman tied all of it to what he called a day of reckoning - a day of judgment, in his words, against the fraud, the corruption, and the scandal he said had been running loose, with a specific passing reference to a woman in Colorado he said had been made a scapegoat, and a promise that even the news media would be forced to report the truth once it came out. That was fulfilled by the release of Tina Peters. Between the extended term, the cabinet, and the court, this single word touches nearly every throne in the federal government in one sitting - about as complete a picture of thrones in motion as any word in this lineup (Hank + Brenda).

The Gavel Falls

Kunneman wasn't the only one hearing about an extended term this season. Veronika West had already been tracking something similar from a different angle, and together the two make a compelling case that this is more than one voice's idea. Back on July 14, she released a word describing a vision of what she called a 48th Presidential Term for Trump - a specific claim that he'd become the 48th person to hold the office. Then on July 24, Trump publicly floated the idea of a further term beyond 2028, put on a "Trump 2028" hat at a public event, and made the moment go wide. West revisited her own word the next day. She wrote plainly, "I saw in a Vision what looked like a 48th Presidential Term" (His Kingdom Prophecy), and acknowledged she'd misread the political mechanics of it - if Trump served again starting in 2028, he'd remain the 47th President, not become the 48th person to hold the office. But she held that the number itself still stood, reading it now as a divine governmental order being sealed into the timeline rather than a literal presidential count, with 2028 sealing both the 48 and a related pattern of 12 she'd seen alongside it. It's part of the same thread running through her ministry of tracing patterns in dates and numbers as signs from God - the same thread that shows up again in her newest word. Her August 3 word is the heaviest yet. She described the courtroom of Heaven in session and a judge rendering a final decision over a system she likened to Babylon in Daniel 5 - authority changing hands, an old order ending. She called it "A Prophetic Declaration of Finality" (Flyover Conservatives). Two independent voices, months apart, both describing the same throne being extended and the same house being swept clean - that's the kind of convergence worth paying attention to.

How It Could Happen

Kunneman's May 17 word had one more piece worth pulling out on its own. In the middle of pronouncing judgment on fraud and corruption, he said God had never let go of the truth about 2020:

For the day of reckoning has come now that even your news will have to report the truth. They'll have to show it, and the guilty will be brought before my throne and they will be brought before this nation. For as this one is freed, hear the sound of Liberty Bells, where I will go back, as I've said before, hindsight is 2020, and I've not let your 2020 out of my sight," says the Spirit of God.

That lines up almost exactly with what Julie Green has been saying separately all year - that video evidence of 2020 election fraud exists and will be released when the Lord tells the President to release it:

(There is) video evidence of not only (the) 2020 election fraud but (also) many other elections. Your enemies had surveillance cameras up to make sure the people they paid were doing the job they paid them to do and (that) it was completed, or they would have to take other measures. These videos are in the hands of My David. Their servers that have been tapped have everything My David and his army needed to take out the Deep State. 

She goes on to say footage from January 6 is coming next. Two different voices, the same year, the same claim that what happened in 2020 hasn't been forgotten and is still coming to light. And this exposure could be a major part of how such a new term for Trump could happen. It’s crazy to think about such things, but another prophetic voice floated the idea of a Trump third term but didn’t say it was a prophetic word he received. Time will tell on all this.

The Throne You Can Reach Right Now

It's easy to spend a whole week watching thrones move in Washington and never once think about the throne closest to home. Scripture says "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16). While God is putting down and raising up kings on the world stage, He's also holding a throne open for you, right now, with no waiting list and no succession speculation attached to it.

So here's the personal piece. Paul told Timothy that "supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority" (1 Timothy 2:1-2), which means the response to everything above isn't a comment section debate about who's right - it's a name-by-name prayer list. Pray for Trump. Pray for Vance. Pray for Rubio and the cabinet. And before you spend another minute watching what's shifting in Washington, ask the Lord what needs to shift in your own life first. Before He raises up kings out there, He starts with the throne closest to home - yours.

Not From the East nor the West

Put these words side by side and a pattern shows up fast - old orders falling, new leaders rising, hidden things coming into the light, and a call to cover the President and his cabinet in prayer. Whether every detail holds up, only time will tell. But the pattern itself lines up with something Scripture already said long before any of these prophets opened their mouths: "For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another" (Psalm 75:6-7). That's the test worth applying to every word on this list, and to the throne in your own life too - not who said it, not how dramatic it sounds, but whether it points back to the God who's been putting down and raising up kings, including the one sitting on the throne of your own heart, long before any of us were watching.
