Prophecy Needs Time

The one thing we need to remember about prophecies from God is that they need time to be fulfilled. That seems to be an obvious statement and yet many people like to get all their exercise from jumping to conclusions about words God gives to us. As I always say, the closer we get to a prophecy being fulfilled the more it will make sense. Right now, many prophecies in the Bible appear to be coming into greater focus concerning the Middle East and specifically Iran. A prophecy seen in Jeremiah 49 is being examined more closely since it mentions an area of Iran being hit right now, ancient Elam. That area just happens to be where part of Iran’s nuclear program is and hitting it could fit what Jeremiah was told by God. My point now isn’t to explore that prophecy and others, it’s just to point out that we can and often are just guessing about prophetic words until we get more information about them. Another one is Israel becoming a nation again on May 14th of 1948. No one saw that coming the way it did, but when it happened all eyes turned to Isaiah 66:8:

Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a thing?
Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment?
(NLT)

The point is that we need to make sure that when we try and explain how a prophecy will be fulfilled we need to also be willing to change our views if new information comes out to show we could be wrong. Many people in my early years of being a Christian so many people started throwing around names for who the Antichrist was and when those people died we obviously knew they were wrong. As I said earlier we need to not hold those explanations so tightly as to be exact. Time really will tell what He was revealing to us.

Kim Clement And Queen Esther

One such prophetic word was given by the late Kim Clement on March 25, 2011. Here is part of it:

God says, ‘Listen to Me. As the beginning of the restoration, as it begins, there shall be a woman that shall rise up – a woman that shall be strong in faith; virtuous. Beautiful in eyes, and her eyes shall be so beautiful. Her eyes shall be round and big. I have crowned her,’ says the Lord, ‘as I crowned Esther. And the people shall receive her. She shall have the oil of gladness for the pain and the mourning that has taken place, and she shall pour out the oil. (Is there some oil here, please?) She shall pour out the oil on this nation,’ and God says, ‘healing shall begin and then it shall flow rapidly. Schools will be free from potential damage and danger, shootings and murder, drug addiction. Cartels shall be afraid of a woman – a woman anointed by God; a woman set aside.’

When Charlie Kirk was assassinated this prophecy was used as pointing to his widow, Erika. I even did a podcast on it. I wasn’t the only one to suggest that the full prophecy could be pointing to her. But I also said that there were parts of it that didn’t fit as well. But looking the current events this week I decided to take a second look at it.

Noem’s New Job

Two parts I noted were that this woman would be hated at first and that cartels will be afraid of her. And even back then I saw another woman could fit the bill: Kristi Noem. Like Erika she too was crowned a queen of a pageant. Kirk won the Miss Arizona pageant, but Noem was crowned the Snow Queen of South Dakota in 1990. Could it be that the hatred and vitriol she’s received recently as being in charge of Homeland Security was what Clement’s word from God saw? It should be pointed out that her new position in the Trump administration is even a better fit for the cartels fearing her than the one she resigned from. The position is United States Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas, a new position not seen before. In an article from Time we get more information on what it will do:

The Trump Administration hasn’t shared details about what the Shield of the Americas entails, beyond the President saying that it is a “new Security Initiative in the Western Hemisphere,” which he will formally announce on Saturday.

In a post on X, Noem thanked Trump for the appointment. She said that the new role would involve working “closely” with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth “to dismantle cartels that have poured drugs into our nation and killed our children and grandchildren.”

That’s extremely specific, folks. And in the word it’s noted that it would happen in the second half of the president’s term:

Do you think I have changed My mind? Therefore, the healing that is necessary for this nation shall come at a time, in the middle of the presidency. There shall be a woman that shall come and God said there shall be oil that shall be poured upon the nation and they shall suddenly feel the healing and they shall say, ‘it is well with my soul, it is well with our soul.’ For the soul of America has been corrupted; the soul of this nation has been corrupted with bitterness and anger.’ And God said, ‘She shall say. ‘no more bitterness, no more anger, no more division,’ and she’ll pour the oil that shall come from the Spirit of the Lord Himself.’ If you as a nation believe, if you as a nation want this, lift your voice and shout one more time and say yes! Yes to Esther! Yes to Esther! Yes to Esther!

Do I know how this will play out? If Noem is the woman God showed Clement and not Erika Kirk? My answer is maybe but let it play out. We need to pray the woman who God says will bring an end to bitterness, corruption, and anger and usher in healing no matter who it is. We certainly need it.
