Asteroids Keep Coming

The current crop of comets or asteroids coming near to Earth brought out yet another rash of doomsayers and conspiracy theories. Some think that one is a comet that is really an alien ship that will send out smaller ships. They think these aliens are not necessarily coming in peace and we didn’t properly prepare for them. Others look to predictions made by Nostradamus and Baba Vanga and think they foresaw this as we read in an article from The Economic Times:

As reported by USA Herald, some enthusiasts and historians believe that Nostradamus may have hinted at events like the arrival of 3I/ATLAS. One quatrain often cited reads: "From the cosmos, a fireball will rise, a harbinger of fate; the world pleads. Science and fate in a cosmic dance, the fate of the Earth, a second chance Because Nostradamus’ writings are vague and metaphorical, interpretations differ widely. Still, the verse has resurfaced online, fueling debates and social media theories linking ancient prophecy to the modern interstellar comet… Baba Vanga, the late Bulgarian clairvoyant who died more than 25 years ago, continues to trend on social media due to her alleged predictions. Many of her 2025 prophecies circulating online are grim, often involving large-scale destruction and loss of life. Among them is a claim that “aliens” would visit Earth in 2025, a prediction that has resurfaced after the discovery of the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS As per reports cited by NDTV, Vanga allegedly warned, "Humanity will make contact with extraterrestrial life, possibly leading to a global crisis or apocalypse.”

Well, today is the day everyone sees these things happening. While the day isn’t over I think it is safe to say that this is a big nothing burger. Yet people are living in fear.

Let’s Play Along

I certainly don’t think these purveyors of doom and gloom are right, for arguments sake I’ll explore their conspiracy theories. So this comet is really an alien spacecraft and that these beings have ill intent in their plans. To travel to our planet requires advanced technology so they can easily overtake us. Will they come in peace at first and then slowly take over like so many science fiction movies and television shows? Or will they just overwhelm our military like what happened in the classic War of the World movies? In any of these scenarios mankind is doomed barring some miraculous resistance from the underdog scientists or a higher power that provides an unexpected intervention. Outside some wild UFO theories we have no evidence that any of these things have happened either in the universe or in the history of our planet. It’s all speculation at best. And I might add that if one or more of them happen we are not going to survive. Period. And I will also add that talk is more than just cheap, it is a waste of time for those of us who know Bible prophecy and what is ahead of us. If anyone, especially Christians are afraid of this kind of talk they should let Holy Spirit literally drag them to the truth.

Demonic Lying

I know I may be in the minority with many but I think all these UFOs are really demons deceiving mankind. And this talk of aliens coming to earth via crafts that are called disguised as comets are deceptions intended to strike fear in people and distract the masses from the most important things happening in our world. Did you know that Christians are being slaughtered in Africa by the thousands almost daily? There are real people who meet in Davos, Switzerland yearly who fully intend to take over the world and institute a one world government and there is no credible threat from extraterrestrial aliens taking over. It’s distractions versus real threats to our existence. I haven’t even broached the possibility that these maniacal despots are working on another virus to use to control us like they did in 2020. Forget the shiny objects or squirrels being paraded in front of us and stay focused on the move to a universal currency and precursors to the mark of the beast. Those are the real threats to us as a society overall and Christians in particular. So let me just say that when Christian leaders or social influencers with serious followings by Bible believing people put out teachings or content talking about these potential disasters and try and weave Bible prophecy into them to sound credible I more than cringe at their efforts. I am angered and saddened. The doctrines of demons that are clouding the ether around us need to be cast down by the power of God working in us and through us. We need to pray against real dangers and push back the strong delusions that are swirling all around us. Let us trumpet the truth that can and will set us free from all the lying spirits who intend to instill fear in us and the lives of our loved ones. Regardless of the next wave of impending doom and the false prophets who promote it, we need to pray and let God give us the words to bring peace and calm into the storm of doubt and despair. There will come a time to panic, but as believers we need to be the ones who don’t.
