Waning Power

Back in February of this year I wrote this word of prophecy after I was watching the Senate confirmation hearings:

The Deep State Will Dry Up

As I asked God about it I believe He is telling us that those who opposed His appointed leader, there will be famine of power for them for a time, but not necessarily three years like in the Bible narrative. The playbook we’re seeing now will only get worse and worse. But all their attempts will keep being frustrated even though they think they are the ones in charge. And then there will be time when they will open up the big guns left just like the 850 false prophets did on Mount Carmel. If you thought the yelling and screaming is bad now, they will be just like the prophets in this story who, as we read earlier, did this:

28 So they shouted louder and, as was their custom, cut themselves with knives and swords until the blood gushed out. 29 They raved all afternoon until the time of the evening sacrifice, but there was no reply, no voice, no answer.

24 hours of nothing but shouting and cutting themselves until they bleed profusely will happen sooner than later. In the original language this gushing of blood meant shedding of blood in a violent context often indicated judgment or divine retribution. In other words, judgment was coming for them. Many prophetic words pointed to something like this and these words have yet to be fulfilled, but those times are coming. I don’t know exactly how it will play out, but these tactics will come to an end. They’ve played this hand one too many times and the people are tired of it. Only those who support their agenda will enjoy it but more and more of them are leaving their camp. Their famine of power is only going to get drier and drier.

Now, I didn’t know how it would play out, but I heard that those people who were fighting Trump were going to lose power but I didn’t know how. Now I’m seeing more and more evidence of this playing out exactly as God said it would.

A Long Time

A short video tease came across my social media feed recently and here is what it said:

The political landscape is shifting, and it's not looking good for the Democrats! A Florida Democrat's bold prediction of a 70-year GOP reign has everyone buzzing. With a staggering 26,000-voter swing in New Mexico, the MAGA coalition is pulling away working-class and Latino voters faster than you can say “voter registration crisis.” The once-reliable blue state is teetering on the brink of red, echoing a national trend that has Democrats scratching their heads in disbelief. As the Obama coalition transforms into Trump’s base, can the Democrats really afford to ignore the signs? If they don't change course, they might find themselves lost in the political wilderness for decades to come!

I recalled what God told me months ago and I of course perked up when I heard these words. I then searched for the interview referred to and found it. Here is what this politician actually said:

Rep. Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla., lamented Tuesday that his state looks set for Republican dominance for decades to come, particularly after Democratic missteps amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Once a swing state, Florida has become a Republican stronghold, attracting an influx of new voters fleeing from other parts of the country. After historic GOP victories in 2022, one liberal local news outlet complained the state had become a "crimson hellscape."

"I don't know what the future of the Democratic Party holds in Florida," Moskowitz told Todd on the "Chuck Toddcast." "Democrats had power in Florida for 100+ years. We're 35 years into Republican rule. We may be here for another 70."

Before you think this is just a political rant I remind you that all of this happened after the word I got eight months ago. There is no way I could have made this up. And now the evidence is backing it all up.

The Fire Is Falling

So many seminal events are occurring now and the political landscape is just one of them. The people who support the killing of babies in the womb, who work tirelessly to promote gender confusion and castigate Christians for simply living out their faith are quickly having their Mt Carmel moments. More and more of their supporters are changing their minds and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the assassination of Charlie Kirk is turning out to be the moment when a revival of massive proportions exploded. Bible sales are through the roof now and people young and old are buying them and then showing up at churches in huge numbers. His life had more influence than many realized and that influence is growing through his supporters and the message of his mentors. Some will think that I’m making Kirk an idol, but I’m not. He always pointed to Jesus everywhere he went. And all I and any others who followed him and respected him knew that. When we say we need more Charlie Kirks what we’re really saying is we need more people who followed Jesus like he did. We need more people who are ready to give an answer for their faith like he did. And that is exactly what the Apostle Paul meant when he encouraged the early church to live for Jesus like he did. All I’m saying now is that the fire is falling on the false prophets and it’s creating an opportunity for the Church. This goes way beyond mere politics.

Our Part

I ended that podcast in February like this and I think it just as apropos now as it was then:

For us we need to take full advantage of the power vacuum created by their fall from the top of the mountain. God will move the pieces to the endgame of a Mount Carmel at the high end of the proverbial food chain so we need to pray for those involved there. They need our prayers for their protection as they capture the rogue players and take them off the chess board one by one. International players will also be dealt with as their plans are exposed. As this happens we will see unprecedented freedoms to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth. There will be a golden age of evangelism as nations are humbled. The Trump effect will be used by God to open countries to missionaries that were closed shut the last four years. And the financial freedom to support these outreaches will be astounding. But we must be focused and prepared for this. We can’t squander another four years of His blessings on building our kingdoms and not His kingdom. Find ministries to support and let God use them to establish ministries that are needed. In short, work while it is day for the night is coming when no man can work. Fight against the spirit of Antichrist furiously and strongly. Seize the day, Christians. Don’t just sit back and eat popcorn watching the defeat of the prophets of Baal. Be an Elijah calling down the fire!

It was good advice then and it’s even better advice now.
