Fear, Control, and the Global Agenda

A Little Stroll Down History

When we broach the topic of dominant nations and rulers, one usually sticks out more than any other and that is the Roman Empire and for good reason, especially for Christians who know their Bible. But they weren't the first ones to wear the moniker of one world government, they just have the attention because they earned it. Some say that history is written by the victors and while we don’t seem to know who originally coined that phrase it makes a lot of sense for those people today who want to rewrite America’s history and cast a dark veil over it to further their godless and woke revolution. But I digress. My point is that Rome is deservedly given the top spot when discussing one world powers from the past and interestingly the next top spot by even some who aren’t Christians who know Bible prophecy. There is however, one big asterisk on that belief and it is that we really haven’t ever had a one world government, one that spans the entire globe. Yes, the sun never set on the British Empire but that was only because it was seen in all time zones, but England never held sway over all nations and even lost to some scrappy 13 colonies back in the 1700s. But today we have both the ability and the will of people who truly want to control the whole world and aren’t shy about telling us they do. Sadly, there are many who see it coming and actually think it would be a good thing. It’s not Halloween yet, but that’s scarwy, very scarwy.

All We Need Is Panic And Fear

As we saw with the pandemic, people are more than willing to sacrifice freedom for security. Such thinking was seen in the earliest years of America and one prominent figure at the time, Benjamin Franklin is quotes as saying this:

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

There are those who think that Franklin’s words are taken out of context, but seriously, we can’t ignore the reality that his quote does extend further than the issue around which it was written. History shows us that and when people try to dismiss this simple but profound logic they are likely wanting to promote their view of power over people and these words just get in their way. In 2020 we did give up freedom for security. To say otherwise is to be willingly ignorant. But the point I’m trying to make is that the masses usually will go along with rules, regulations and laws that protect them and provide for them even if it means giving up freedoms they cherished only months before. And those who would want to impose a new world order now, are more than happy to take advantage of that tendency. Regardless of what you felt about the pandemic the world did fall into line if it meant stopping the virus. So what is the next big thing to usher in draconian rule of law? We don’t know, but we do know who wants to step in and help.

Pact For The Future

I’d like to say the next world crisis is just one thing, but it isn't, at least it wasn’t the reasoning for what we just saw happen at the last United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) this week. To know what those in attendance voted on we simply need to read from their website, un.org and the press release on what they are calling the Pact for the Future:

World leaders today adopted a Pact for the Future that includes a Global Digital Compact and a Declaration on Future Generations. This Pact is the culmination of an inclusive, years-long process to adapt international cooperation to the realities of today and the challenges of tomorrow. The most wide-ranging international agreement in many years, covering entirely new areas as well as issues on which agreement has not been possible in decades, the Pact aims above all to ensure that international institutions can deliver in the face of a world that has changed dramatically since they were created. As the Secretary-General has said, “we cannot create a future fit for our grandchildren with a system built by our grandparents.”

Gee, when I look in the mirror I think he just insulted me. Ironically, most of the people who created this pact were the ages of said grandparents, but I digress yet again. While they didn’t say any one thing was crisis-worthy, they did list some:

“The Pact for the Future, the Global Digital Compact, and the Declaration on Future Generations open the door to new opportunities and untapped possibilities,” said the Secretary-General during his remarks at the opening of the Summit of the Future. The President of the General Assembly noted that the Pact would “lay the foundations for a sustainable, just, and peaceful global order – for all peoples and nations.”

The Pact covers a broad range of issues including peace and security, sustainable development, climate change, digital cooperation, human rights, gender, youth and future generations, and the transformation of global governance.

There’s your list, folks. But the next scarwy part is found deep into the document.

We’re Here To Help

A famous quote from the late President Ronald Reagan was “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.” And if you want some more terrifying words it is from page 35 of the UN document that says this:

We recognize the need for a more coherent, cooperative, coordinated and multidimensional international response to complex global shocks and the central role of the United Nations in this regard. Complex global shocks are events that have severely disruptive and adverse consequences for a significant proportion of countries and the global population, and that lead to impacts across multiple sectors, requiring a multidimensional and whole-of-government, whole-of-society response.

Forget individual nations deciding what to do or not do, let’s just cede our authority to a global cabal of people who really know what’s best for us. The best gobbledygook phrase is right there at the start: coherent, cooperative, coordinated and multidimensional international response. Just what is a multidimensional international response? I’ll make it simple for you. It is another way of saying we are the one world government and we’re here to help. And the full quote is like the recipe for taking over the world. We have all the ingredients and all we need is what they call a complex global shock to make the global government cake. But there are some who are telling the UN, much like Marie Antionette, to let them eat cake. And the main ones are Donald Trump, Vladimer Putin, and Benjamin Netanyahu, all three of which are being castigated and even targets of assassination attempts for daring to tell the global cabal not on our watch. Their resistance to giving up their national sovereignty is deflating the soufflé as it were since we’re using baking references, and they must be removed from power. But I seem to digress yet again.

A New Family

Those in the UN are pushing a UN 2.0 since we’re almost five years away from 2030 and the infamous 2030 Agenda isn’t progressing well. Here is what they say about the way to get it back on track:

Halfway through the 2030 Agenda, the world is not on track to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. It is not too late to change course, if we all rethink, refocus, and recharge. “UN 2.0” encapsulates the Secretary-General’s vision of a modern UN family, rejuvenated by a forward-thinking culture and empowered by cutting-edge skills for the twenty-first century – to turbocharge our support to people and planet.

We will strive towards this vision with a powerful fusion of innovation, data, digital, foresight and behavioural science skills and culture – a dynamic combination that we call the “Quintet of Change”. It is about evolution towards more agile, diverse, responsive, and impactful UN organizations.

Don’t you like that phrase a modern UN family? I guess I don’t fit in that family much like Marilyn Munster from the popular television series The Munsters didn’t fit in hers. But if you want to promote the unity the UN needs to fulfill their goals, a family is a good example. A dysfunctional family though.

Wake Up, Stand Up, and Speak Up

In light of these powerful leaders literally Hell bent on ramming their agenda down our throats what can we do? That of course is what I want to focus on now. Yes, we do tend to feel rather helpless to stop this roller coaster ride to world dominance by the global elites and as we can see, they want to take over our lives whether we like it or not. It’s for our own good, you know. However, as believers we are not supposed to be given to fear and we’re also not supposed to just lay down and let the predicted one world government take over without a fight. But is there a sustainable way to resist? I like how Bible prophecy expert Jeff Kinley of Main Things Ministries counsels us from an interview he gave recently:

The apostle John declared in 1 John 2:18, "Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour." I don't know if we are ticking to the very last seconds or not, but knowing the Lord is indeed coming soon does provide Christians with a sense of expectancy for the Lord's soon return.

Kinley then gives a phrase I really like:

It also gives us a sense of what I call Purposeful Urgency. It's not panic. We're not running around like Chicken Little. Rather, we possess a sense of, "I've got to get this done!" Think, "It's the two-minute warning. It's late in the fourth quarter. We need to win this game!"

He then gives us three things we should do:

Three things Christians should be doing while we wait for the return of Jesus Christ. First of all, for the believers out there—wake up. Jesus called to the Church of Sardis to wake up. They thought they were alive, but they were not. "Wake up! See who I am," is what Christ calls Christians to do.

Then he encourages us to resist:

The second thing we should do is—stand up. Stand up to this pagan culture! This culture needs salt and light to see Christ. Christians are the restraining influence holding that great tide of evil at bay. If we don't stand up now then the world is not going to know the difference between right and wrong.

And then he tells the Body of Christ to be vocal:

So wake up, stand up, and finally—speak up. Speak up for the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Tell people about how our wonderful Savior can forgive us of our sins. Only Jesus Christ can make a sinner brand new on the inside. Only Jesus Christ can grant us an eternal destiny and hope for the future. That's the good news that we as Christians need to speak up about.

There you have it: Wake Up, Stand Up, and Speak Up! Like the old hymn tells us: Onward Christian soldiers!
