Clucking Chaos: Bird Flu The Next Big Scare?

If you wonder what the next pandemic could be from, the talk now is what is called Avian Flu and as you could have guessed, it is currently seen in birds, but appears to be spreading to other animals. Here is a brief definition it from an article in medlineplus.gov:

Birds, just like people, can get the flu. Another name for bird flu is avian influenza. The viruses that cause bird flu normally only infect birds, including chickens, other poultry, and wild birds such as ducks. But sometimes the viruses can infect other animals and, in rare cases, people.

A few types of these viruses have caused most of the infections in people. They are the H5N1, H7N9, and H5N6 viruses. These infections in people have mainly been in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Pacific, and the Near East. Although it's very rare, there have also been some infections in people in the United States.

Very rare indeed because to date, only 3 cases of this flu has been reported since 2022. So why all the buzz about it? Well according to some, it is yet another way to ramp up fear and even be able to go back to the way things were the last time there was a presidential election. With only 3 cases of human infection, this hardly qualifies for what we went through with a pandemic, but recent history tells that anything can happen. However, panic can be ginned up so much quicker now after the previous experience in 2020 programmed us how to behave.

Even Without Symptoms

According to a report from CBSnews.com some farm workers are being looked at even before they have even shown symptoms of what they calling “Disease X”:

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE)confirmed Friday that approximately 70 dairy farm workers are currently being monitored for possible symptoms of avian flu.

The 70 workers were recently exposed to the virus while employed at two Colorado dairy farms. Neither the farms or the workers have not been identified.

None of the workers are reporting symptoms of infection at this time, a CDPHE spokesperson confirmed. The agency will coordinate testing for any of the workers who do report symptoms and ensure flu antiviral drugs are available to them.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture first detected bird flu in a Colorado dairy herd on April 25.

According to the article, if the bird flu does affect humans, there already is a cure and no one has died from it. So why all the fear? Why are people who show no symptoms being monitored? Are people making the population aware so they will just do what they’re told like before? We read more from the article:

The virus was first discovered in a Texas dairy herd in late March. One person from that Texas farm became mildly symptomatic. That is, to this point, the only person to become ill due to the virus's transmission to dairy herds. That person is the first to contract this particular strain of the virus from another mammal, per the World Health Organization. The first person to contract it directly from birds was an inmate working at a commercial poultry facility near Montrose two years ago. Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) H5N1 highly contagious and often deadly in birds, and can be easily transmitted between domestic poultry and wild birds.

"It is important to note that "highly pathogenic" refers to severe impact in birds, not necessarily in humans," according to the Federal Food and Drug Administration.

The article is quick to also say this:

The potential is there, however, for pandemic levels of bird flu. According to the results a 2023 study, severe infections can cause human death at a high rate. In tests, a dozen laboratory monkeys inhaled an aerosol dose of the virus. Four of the six unvaccinated monkeys developed acute respiratory disease and died. The six vaccinated monkeys became ill but survived.

Odd Timing?

Two things stand out about all the talk about the bird flu and that is the timing of people who were less than truthful about the last health scare warning us about this potential one and the World Health Organization voting to be totally in charge of the next pandemic. For those who, like me, try to connect the dots on things, this is hardly looking like a coincidence. And in that we are in the thick of a presidential election just like the last one and that the rules were changed around that one which made it easier to not vote in person, well color me suspicious. Dr. Jeremy Farrar, who infamously changed a report for the last pandemic to saying that the origin of the virus was “unlikely” to have come from a lab to it being “improbable,” is now sound the alarm bells on the bird flu as we read in an article from United Nations:

Dr. Jeremy Farrar, chief scientist at the World Health Organization (WHO), said that the avian influenza virus, which is also known as H5N1, has had an “extremely high” mortality rate among the several hundred people known to have been infected with it to date.

However, no human-to-human H5N1 transmission has yet been recorded.

“H5N1 is (an) influenza infection, predominantly started in poultry and ducks and has spread effectively over the course of the last one or two years to become a global zoonotic – animal – pandemic,” he said.

“The great concern, of course, is that in doing so and infecting ducks and chickens – but now increasingly mammals – that that virus now evolves and develops the ability to infect humans. And then critically, the ability to go from human-to-human transmission.”

Viruses jumping from animals to people usually takes a very long time as we see in a article from the NIH:

Focusing on humans, many people all over the world are in close proximity to animals due to local customs or due to their way of life. One can suppose that single transmission events of animal viruses to humans (viral exposure in human bodies/cells by direct contact) are happening daily, on the order of millions of times. The vast majority of those events are not successful in causing infection. It takes 100s or 1000s of years for a virus to “gain” the right combination of mutations in order to insert in human cells and survive further through spreading in multiple individuals (Longdon et al. 2014).

So how did a farmer in Texas get infected only days after the virus was detected in his cows? And according to most cases, you test the humans and then the animals. And the Chinese started vaccinating bird allowing them to transmit the virus and then they incinerated the birds so they couldn’t get the antibodies against it. It appears that there is a plan to actually make it easier for another pandemic to occur.

Making It Infectious In Months

In an interview from NewsNation on YouTube a former CDC director , Dr. Robert Redfield had this to say about

"I'm obviously most worried about bird flu. Right now, it takes five amino acid changes for it to be effectively infecting humans. That's a pretty heavy species barrier - but this virus is already in 26 mammal species, as you most recently saw cattle. But in the laboratory, I could make it highly infectious for humans in just months."

"That's the real threat. That's the real biosecurity threat that these university labs are doing bio-experiments that are intentionally modifying viruses - and I think bird flu is going to be the cause of the Great Pandemic - where they're teaching these viruses to be more infectious for humans."

And, as if on cue that experimenting is being done right now with gain of function testing. Redfield also added this:

Yeah, they were doing a lot of gain-of-function research, which is when you manipulate these viruses to make them highly transmissible to humans and then try to come up with a vaccine to stop it. The theory here, and something you have believed, is that there was a mistake, an accident at the lab, and somehow that virus leaked out. This raises real ethical questions about this gain-of-function research happening in labs, not just in Wuhan, but around the world ... I wrote an op-ed with Marc Siegel in the Wall Street Journal a little while back, really calling for a moratorium on gain-of-function research. I think it puts our world at great risk.

The great President, Ronald Reagan had a saying concerning working with Russia: trust but verify. Right now, I don’t trust our leaders politically and scientifically. There are way too many “coincidences” around this bird flu.

Prophetic Words Were Given On This

The later prophetic leader, John Paul Jackson was given a look into the future back in 2008, and part of it said this:

The Lord told me that there would be a pandemic that came, but the first one would prove to be little but fear. However, the second one that comes would be serious. So, there is a pandemic that is going to be coming.

Jackson gave a lot more details about the future and here is more of them from an interview on YouTube:

Over the next period, riots are coming, and if we're not careful, the anger will mount so much after the next election that martial law will be declared. I've seen six cities in the United States where martial law was declared, including Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, and an unidentified city. Our freedoms will diminish as these events unfold. Financial issues will worsen, with the euro collapsing and the dollar following shortly after. People need to get out of debt and get right with God to hear His guidance…In March, on Daystar TV, the Lord had me prophesy about an assassination attempt on a congressman, which happened with Gabby Giffords. There will be times when stadiums are empty because people can't afford tickets. Tensions in Israel and Iran will escalate, with Israel eventually attacking Iran, causing a backlash and a rise in anti-Semitism. OPEC countries might form an alliance against supporters of Israel, affecting gasoline prices.

A new American currency and a global currency will emerge, with a new economic structure between Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. The United Nations and the EU will grow stronger, and Turkey will rise as a significant force in the Middle East. Russia will create a crisis to spark nationalism, with Putin's return part of a larger plan. A more ruthless leader will eventually emerge behind the scenes.

Earthquakes will change the earth's tilt, altering jet streams and weather patterns, causing crop losses. Cracks in the earth's shields will allow solar eruptions to impact satellites, disrupting communication and navigation. Airplanes might struggle to land without satellite guidance. These events will worsen unless people cry out to God.

There will be further assassination attempts, anger, and violence, with rich neighborhoods invaded. The military will shrink, leading to potential invasions. Tornadoes and hurricanes will increase in intensity, and volcanoes will erupt in the Northwestern U.S. The shape of the U.S. might change if we don't turn to God.

Financial issues will force people to grow their own food, with a blight affecting genetically modified crops… A dirty bomb might make a coastal city uninhabitable for over 30 years. Rural land will become valuable as people flee cities. The U.S. will cut foreign aid, leading to more dictators.

Anarchy will rise from the gay and lesbian community, with reports of violence against heterosexual men. Technology might allow homosexual men to carry babies through organ transplants. Large churches might file for bankruptcy due to financial struggles.

Jackson did give us hope, though:

The church must learn to contend for the faith, return to the love of God's word, and understand His omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence. We must seek intimacy with God and crave to know Him deeply. Understanding God's attributes will strengthen our faith in times of trouble.

Jeremiah 30 describes a time of Jacob's troubles, but Psalms 24 offers hope. In Jacob's troubles, the king of glory will come in if we seek the Lord. This will lead to clearer definitions of Christianity, increased persecution, and a deeper understanding of spiritual truths. The might and strength of the Lord of hosts will fight on our behalf.

I might add that we aren’t to be given to a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. I know that it can also get frustrating when we see the same playbook being used again as is we won’t be able to see it happening and worse, have no power to change it. To that I tell you two words: But God. We do see what is being planned, but this time we know exactly how to intercede against it. And God will not only listen, but specially answer this time. Be of good cheer, saints!
