God’s News In The News

Week One Hundred Thirty-One

The Prophetic Love Of God

They Have A Plan

As I’ve said time and time again, one of the big surprises I have now when it comes to prophecy is how bold, blatant, and brazen are the people in charge of the Great Reset. Growing up as a young Christian I heard sermons and read books about the shadow government pulling the strings of all the world leaders and how they must be stopped. Some authors were more dystopian than others about what would happen next, but just the fact that they were, really working behind a veil of secrecy made the topic captivating and worthy of the attention it was given. Now, all those preachers, evangelists and authors have to find other ways to get our attention because the leaders of this one world government are not shrouding their intent in even the slightest as attested by some recent comments noted in an article by author Tim Hinchliffe, from Klaus Schwab the proverbial ringleader of this Satanic circus:

Speaking at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand last week, Schwab said that the global economic restructuring would lead to social tensions in many countries.

In order for business leaders to come out as winners and not losers following the economic restructuring, Schwab told the APEC crowd that they must first and foremost “embrace the fourth industrial revolution” — a technological ecosystem that, in his words, will lead to the “fusion of our physical, our digital, and our biological identities.”

He forgot to add our spiritual identities, but I digress only a little bit.

Winners And Losers

Hinchliffe goes on to quote Schwab as he tells us more about the process by which we get to this brave new world:

To achieve a better outcome, the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions […] In short, we need a ‘great reset’ of capitalism…

Hinchliffe, in a previous article from April of 2022 breaks down how it will happen on the control front:

Both digital identity and CBDC are part of the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) overall great reset agenda to harness the power of the so-called fourth industrial revolution (4IR) as the technological driving force for revamping all aspects of society and the global economy… Technologies emerging from the 4IR (Fourth Industrial Revolution) do indeed have the potential to make the world a better place, such as bringing about greater connectivity, better healthcare and housing, more efficient land use for food and water, advances in recycling, and incredible convenience for billions of people.

But while the great reset patricians preach inclusivity, resiliency, and sustainability, their fourth industrial revolution may soon find us plebs as programmable as a Central Bank Digital Currency.

Just as permissions can be programmed onto a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) to restrict certain purchases while logging every transaction onto a central ledger, the same concept can be applied to programming permissions onto people to restrict their freedom to work, travel, participate in society, or even protest while logging every online and offline interaction onto an interoperable digital ID.

Schwab lets these business leaders know exactly how things will go, again from the 11/22 article by Hinchliffe:

For business leaders, Schwab said that “the cards are redistributed” and that by the end of this transformation, there will be “winners and losers.”

In other words, get behind this agenda or get left behind. So much for having options.

There Is Another World Power

The folks who jet around to all these summits act and think they are at the top of the food chain, and to many they are. However, to a great deal of people who follow God and know the Bible, world leaders come and go, but the “Big Guy” looks down and is amused by the current plans for world domination:

What fools the nations are to rage against the Lord! How strange that men should try to outwit God! 2 For a summit conference of the nations has been called to plot against the Lord and his Messiah, Christ the King. 3 “Come, let us break his chains,” they say, “and free ourselves from all this slavery to God.”

4 But God in heaven merely laughs! He is amused by all their puny plans. (Ps 2:1-4, TLB)

And while I could give you an endless supply of quotes from these high and mighty pontificators, the point is summed up quite well by the psalmist. History is replete with power plays by men and even women who aspired to play God and all have met with failure. But the current crop think they have figured out how to succeed when all others have failed and that is by becoming immortal. You see, they believe technology can upload their essence into a machine that can exist for eternity. Going back to Psalm 2, God offers the real approach:

O kings and rulers of the earth, listen while there is time. 11 Serve the Lord with reverent fear; rejoice with trembling. 12 Fall down before his Son and kiss his feet before his anger is roused and you perish. I am warning you—his wrath will soon begin.

God Has Plans For You, Too

It can get a tad depressing listening to these so-called leaders speak about winners and losers as if they can unequivocally determine that for everyone. God, however, does the same thing, but the major difference is that He can actually do it. Unlike Schwab and his ilk, the Creator of the Universe tells us His offer and lets us choose freely. And His future for us is backed by the power of the Almighty, the Author and Finisher of our faith, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning, and the End. What does He offer? Taste and see:

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jer 29:11, TLB)

It is just that simple. This is a beloved passage of scripture for many, but we need to put it in context so it can aptly speak to us today:

The Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Don’t let the false prophets and mediums who are there among you fool you. Don’t listen to the dreams that they invent, 9 for they prophesy lies in my name. I have not sent them, says the Lord. 10 The truth is this: You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised and bring you home again. 11 For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jer 29:8-11, TLB)

The men and women behind the Great Reset are false prophets in our midst. Jeremiah is speaking to these “Babylonian” bosses and their “prophecies” just before Jeremiah 29:11.

The Joys Of Those Who Put Their Trust In Him!

…But oh, the joys of those who put their trust in him! (Ps 2:12, TLB)

Going back to the verses from Psalm 2 we see a distinct contrast to those who rage against God, in this case the folks in charge of the Great Reset. Who would you rather be following? Those that offer a faux immortality or He who offers joy in this life and the life to come? And this joy is not an emotion or passing high, but an actual force that supports and sustains you as we read in Nehemiah 8:10:

Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength! (NLT)

In Hebrew, the word for “strength” is maoz (maw-oze') a place or means of safety, protection. Other words for it are defense, fortress, fortresses, helmet, protection, refuge, safety, strength, strong, stronghold, strongholds. In Strong's Exhaustive Concordance defines it as a force, a fortress, and a rock. I can confidently put it together for you taking Jeremiah 29:11 and Nehemiah 8:10 and painting a brighter future for you than the false prophets of the Great Reset. God has plans for your future and it is of hope and not despair or evil. And as you move forward, the same God that offers you a bright future, gives you the strength to enjoy it since He is your fortress and your life in Him is a refuge of safety. There may be winners and losers in Schwab’s kingdom, but ultimate winners in God’s. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!
